Indeed / New Belgium Strawberry Fields
On tap at 7 West. Pours a cloudy red melted slushy with a white head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma is full of earthy melted strawberry Popsicle with a bit of earthiness underlying. Flavor tastes like an Eddyís strawberry Popsicle with a light tartness backing.

Indeed Derailed #5 - Rum King
Local swap from deyholla, thanks!! 2015: Walnut, fudge, raisin nose, some volatiles. Black, medium beige head, good retention. Raisin, charred oak, walnut, rum overtones. Possible appearance of marzipan. Vanilla finish. Medium body, easy carbonation, alcohol is well concealed. Layers of complexity. The rum barrels work very nicely with the base stout, which is awesome.

From a bottle at the July DC tasting. Poured a clear golden color with a small white head. Aroma was... like lavender soap. Not unpleasant, but not super pleasant for something I was planning on drinking. They hit the mark for what they were going for. Lavender. Floral. Soap. Light honey.

Indeed Derailed #16 - Lucy
I wasnít as enthusiastic about this as many of my fellow Minnesota raters. The sour is too far subdued and the flavors are muted, going quickly in the finish. It doesnít have enough backbone to stand up to food flavors or pair especially well with anything. Semi-dull yellow color. On tap at Pizza Luce, Roseville.

Can: Caramel and lemongrass nose. Opaque rust, medium yellow head. Less sweet on the palate as on the nose. Dried leaves, caramel, tea. medium body, moderate carbonation. Dull hop presence, just past its best by date by a few weeks, so it isnít fresh, but it didnít hold up well either.

Clear golden pour with a single finger head. Lace present. Aroma is very flowery along with some citrus. Medium bodied. Lots of citrus notes, nice and dank. Orange pith leads to a bitter finish. Somewhat dry, but leaves you wanting more. Not much grain character. Arguably dirty hop water, but I do like it.

On tap at Busters, pours a murky bright red with a thin white head. Aroma is like strawberry jam/preserves. Tastes like strawberry jam with, fruit junks and all, sweet berry flesh and tart sour strawberry skins, flavors are boosted with lacto and basement funk on the finish. Best strawberry beer/sour Iíve ever had, delicious!

Indeed Wooden Soul #7 - Raspberry Cherry Sour Red Ale
10 or 12 oz. pour, on tap at the breweryís taproom in Nordeast Minneapolis, Minnesota. Consumed on 6-16-16. Dark, hazy maroon to medium brown. Glows quite ruby red, getting toward purple, in the light. Small amount of beige head. Very nice color and look of the liquid. Twizzlers, bubblegum, and cinnamon chewing gum scents. Tart raspberry and sweet cherry. Pleasant smell but would be better still if tarter and less sweet. Tartness verging on sourness hits first but sweet, floral, fructose fruitiness quickly follows. Cinnamon spiciness. Sweeter than I was expecting. Reminds me a bit of a New Glarus fruit beer, but not as incredibly fruity or transcendently great. Still a really likable beer. Brett yeastiness evident after several sips. Slightly chemical but in an inoffensive way. Clay. Plum. Overripe banana finish. The Brett combines with the fruit candy or Fruit Roll-Up sweetness to produce an effect that gets odd and grating toward the end, costing it a point in overall score. Lively and prickly (in a good way) in the palate. Frothy. Light to medium body. Good beer, getting close to very good.

Indeed L.S.D. Honey Ale
Honey gold with small head. Very floral lavender aroma; quite unique. Taste - you really can taste all three parts. The earthy flowery lavender isn't subtle followed by the sweet honey and dark fruit. Certainly unique but so perfumey that after one, you're ready to move on. Still, I like the attempt and it is pleasurable for a short time. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From a can. Ripe tropical fruits over acerbic pine and herbal notes; just a touch of biscuit malts comes through toward the finish. Thereís a hint of a midwest IPA in here -- the malt bill is definitely there, and itís darker in color -- but the sharp bitterness is more reminiscent of the pacific NW. Good!

Indeed Shenanigans Summer Ale
Draft on tap at the brewery (Minneapolis, MN). Pours a honey yellow hue with some decent haziness that dulls the body. Frothy offwhite head is sizable, creamy, and retains as a nice enough layer with solid lacing around. Aromas are a touch grassy, wheaty malts are bready, with a subtle honey sweetness, mellow fruit, some dryness and earthy appeal. Initial is lighter bodied overall, some grassy earth bitterness and mellow yeastiness meets flaked wheat, a cleaner appeal as the fruity appeal lends itself to a more lemony appeal. Dry yet not bitter really, fresh and a bit grainy with some lemon, gentle sweetness. Cleaner backend with lingering grass clippings, subtle florals and yeastiness. Solid summer wheat.

Indeed Let It Roll IPA
Draft on tap at the brewery (Minneapolis, MN). Pours a darker deep carmelized blood red hue. A subtle haziness but nearly transparent with that deep carmelized reddish glow throughout. Frothy whitish head is sizable but dies to a thicker ringer quick enough. Aromas are bitter, carmelized and toasty. Green and floral hops, some citric jabs quickly giving a carmelized and biscuity appeal beneath. Initial offers a fuller caramel driven body. Red malts, firm piney and floral bitterness is the supporter with the fruity appeal fading quickly. Fuller bodied, a bit brooding, and lacking not only a signature fresh or fruity hop appeal, but offering far too much body overall. Meh. Ok. Not my type of IPA.

Indeed Derailed #16 - Lucy
Draft on tap at the brewery (Minneapolis, MN). Pours a pale dulled straw yellow hue, a decent haziness dulls it a bit with a frothy whitish head atop that dissipates quickly. Mellow lacing as a ringer. Aromas are a bit dry, bitter floral hops and subtle melon, some menthol appeal meet some earthiness, lactic twang, cereal malts. Initial is lighter bodied, more bitter and subtle grapefruit appeal. Green, floral bitterness, subtle soap meet some ok but perhaps a bit mellow lactic twang. This grows on me as a more squeaky bitter backend seems to be a bit more vibrant, the hop elements working a bit better with the smaller lactic acidic pop. A bit rustic or messy grain quality but overall this drinks nice enough overall once I get into it.

12 oz can from a 12 can mix pack given to me by my brother in law. The pour is a light haze golden with a small white head. The aroma is hay along with cereal grain. Ruby edged, mahogany color, thin tan ring fades quickly. Sulfur and ironlike minerality in the aroma. Oven fresh cinnamon bread, caramel, biscuit malts; warm, inviting, composed. Moments of red currant or cherry frame it nicely. The flavor hits the right balance of crispness and savory malt texture, mingling plum, raisin and caramel with a brisk, dry leaf bitterness that clips the backend. A touch of icy, fruity sugar flashes briefly before the simple, baked bread and caramel finish. All around solid American example; a laudable effort.

At Winterfest, 2016. This was one of the best beers of the festival. This had pinot noir grapes. Lots of grape in the flavor. Aroma has yeast, some grape juice. Flavor is moderately sour, like the base beer, with the addition of grape giving this a purple color. Very good.

Indeed Wooden Soul #1 - Saison with Brett
Tap at the source with commonshawn on March Madness Eve. This one is #850...feeling pretty proud right now. 12 oz tulip pour. Hazy, cloudy deep orange/golden. Head is minimal but lacing looks promising. Aroma is in the vein of Belgian sours which I attribute to the Brett. Significant funk. Taste brings the funk as well with a heavy dose of fruits. Subtle but noticeable peppery and herb characteristics. Sour notes are not overpowering and actually pretty quick to dissipate in the finish. Surprised at this oneís drinkability. Overall not bad.
