Little Beer Little Kahuna
Cask at the Jolly Sailor, Farnham. A bright, but flat, golden amber pour; with a thick aroma of resinous hops; but rather thin in the mouth with a sour hoppy taste; then a tart finish with lingering bitterness. Rather odd, and certainly not my kind of thing.

Little Beer Little Haka
Cask at Prince Arthur (JDW), Fleet, at 3.5% ABV. Pale amber with a loose white head; weak tropical fruit aroma; rather thin with some tropical fruit and grapefruit flavours; and a crisp citrusy finish. This doesnít stand up to the other lowish alcohol, heavily hopped beers around nowadays.

Little Beer Little Snug
On keg in King & Co. This was a light chestnut brown beer with an off white head. Nose was nutty, citrous, caramel, fruity, grassy. Taste had rather a lot going on. Toasty grains and malt, caramel, nutty but with some citrous, fruit, slight tartness, hay and grassy, earthy hops. Not quite all working smoothly together, but perfectly drinkable.

Little Beer Little Smooth Milk Stout
On cask at King & Co. meet the brewer event. Opaque very dark brown to black colour with a foamy tan head. Nose is chocolatey, lactic milky, little creamy, roasted malt, little grain chaff, malty sweetness. Taste is sweet chocolate, milk chocolate, lactic milky and creaminess, slight touch of dark fruit. Itís sweet but very drinkable, with enough roasted flavours balancing the sweetness. Very nice.

Little Beer Little Haka
Cask at The Swan, Bloomsbury, London. 3.5% ABV. Poured a golden/amber with a decent sized but quite short lasting white head, leaving good lacing. Aroma is sweet, well hopped, with floral notes. Medium+ sweetness with a good level of hoppy bitterness. Light/medium body, soft carbonation, texture a little sticky. Has a long bitterness to finish. For its ABV this is very good.

Little Beer Little Spirit
Bottle from Kris Wines, London. Pours a deep amber-hued brown body with a small off-white head. Nose is hard leather tones, smoke, peat, old ropes, wood and hints of caramel, toffee, grains and phenolic band aid tones. Taste is smoke, peat, leather, old ropes, grains and hints of medicine and licorice. Medium body, high carbonation. Way overdone; the Ardbeg takes all and leaves little barley wine behind and the body suffers from the barrel aging as well.
