Bratislavský Bubák 12° Tmavé
On tap at the brewpub. Surprised to see that this is rated higher than their pilsener, which I think is miles ahead of this beer. Standard dunkel, tending towards a Schwarzbier imo - pretty roasty. Unfortunately also kind of thin. Not bad overall!

0,4 l hana @ Bratislavsky Me?tiansky Pivovar. Sameahko hyvin tummanruskea. Tuoksussa paahteista mallasta, mutta hillitysti. Liian kylmää kunnon haisteluun. Ihan vähän savulihaa. Maussa paahteista mallasta, kahvia, vähän humalaa ja jotain marjaista. Turhan hento jollain tapaa.

.4l pour from tap into a chalice at the brewpub in Bratislava. Black and so opaque I can see myself in it. Moderate tan head with nice lacing. A good looking beer. Nose is a bit roasty and maybe a tad burnt. Body is light and creamy. Taste is nice. A bit of sweetness up from, but with bitterness throughout, especially on the finish. Bready and roasty. A bit burnt. A well-made and drinkable dark beer.

Thanks for sharing this hand bottled growler, jcwattsrugger. Cloudy, deep rich copper body. The nose was sour cherries and wood with a strong floral character. Flavors of sour funky wood and some herbal goodness were present. The finish had a little caramel and less of the tart sourness. A nicely done sour beer that was really rich.

Tap at the brewery. Aroma does not differ too much from their standard svetly. Hoppy, almost moderate intensity, light fruity. Light yeasty. Clear amber colour, decent white head. Taste has moderate bitterness balanced with solid malt background showing caramel and maybe vienna/munich malts. Quite good beer, though if it was meant to be an IPL it is an epic fail at that.
