Pours a hazy, dark mustard-gold color, with rather smallish head. Aroma is citrus, tropical fruit, some pineapple, a touch of butterscotch. Flavor is tropical fruit, citrus, some bread and pine-hops. Smooth mouthfeel. Mild hop bitterness at finish. I'd agree that this isn't quite as good as the peach version.

Tree House Little Blaze
Spring 2024 can drunk a month ago and now on 4/12/24. Clear, dark. Small, dark beige/light tan head. Low retention. Coffee, light cinnamon, milk chocolate. Pretty low maltiness and a bit char-heavy. Soft, sweet, light, sugary, cinnamony. Strong coffee, milk chocolate and dry spice. Oddly light body. Somehow sugary and yet too thin. Lingering spice, bread, cocoa powder. Just thin and over-adjuncted. Has not improved at all over a month.

Tree House Curiosity 140 (One Hundred Forty)
Charlton draught, 4/9/24. Peachy-bronze-maize. Heavy haze. White head slowly to spotty cover. Big hop character is fruity and mellowed. Like a ton of aroma but not the acidity or punch. Clementine, orange peel, mango. Very Citra-oriented, in my mind. So clean and snappy with layered malts showing cracker, honey, biscuit. Lingering papaya-guava. Spicy, juicy, malty. Lovely chalk and mineral with a bit of cakey/buttery malt. Very malty with excellent attenuation. The hops aren't exotic or crazy but are done so well, with so much mango-orange character, just a bit of chalk (not even in a bad, overly dull way) and lingering papaya and spice. Body lightens significantly on the finish.

Tree House Spring
Charlton draught, 4/9/24. Heavily hazy, deep bronze with some lighter pineapple-golden. Small, white head, modest retention. Oily but aromatic and not punchy hop. Some cracker, with pine, wood, moderate spice and light citrus juice. Very clean, quite bright. Juicy, spicy, very robustly textured with heavily expensive, tight carbonation. Bit of floral/perfume but it never gets sharp. Very malty with excellent attenuation and lingering, gentle tropical fruits. Tons of flavor and great balance without any resin.

Tree House Ivory Cloud
Charlton draught, 4/9/24. Milky white gold. Small, white head is fleeting. Cheese and mineral with excellent spice, big juice and a "danker" subtleness. Really nice mellowness with big but easygoing hop notes and no resin/punch. Soft, chewy malts. Spicy and juicy, green and definitely "dank" with cannabis and the blue cheese Bookman references. Soft, malty, dry, spicy, cheesey. My first truly cheesey beer and sure enough, since it sounds absolutely disgusting, it's the exact opposite. Bit of chalk and sulfur on the finish. Brewing is about adding normally disgusting flavors and aromas to beer. I have solved brewing. I will now explode.

Tree House Magic in the Sky
Charlton draught, 4/9/24. Heavily hazy, lemon-maize. Small, white head, slowly to light cover. Juicy tropical fruit with a healthy mix of papaya, guava and some lemon for good measure. Nice maltiness. Lower spice intensity but not none. Clean, not resinous or boozey. Soft, malty, tons of honey and biscuit with good attenuation. Soft and fuzzy, low bitterness, tons of juicy tropical fruit and light mineral. Could use a bit more spice, brightness/crispness. Just a touch too soft/sweet.

Tree House King of the Mountain
Charlton draught, 4/9/24. Clear, deep amber. Small, beige head to light cover quickly. Raisin and brown bread but very mellow and understated. No big sugars jumping out, just fruitiness, yeast and gentle acidity. Very clean. Flavor much like the nose with a rich maltiness that is very nicely attenuated and balanced by a zesty acidity and gentle bitterness. No big bread or excess sugar. Lingering herbal bitterness, crisp yeast and a bit of toffee/vanilla. That's how to do a bock. And all of this at just 5.5%.

Tree House Behind the Times
Side pull at Charlton, 4/9/24. Clear auburn-mahogany. Medium-sized, dark beige head slowly to light cover. Hazelnut and rich caramel with a peanut-like earthiness augmented by not-very-salty smokiness. Good biscuit and general base malt with a crisp, well-yeasted finish. Soft, richly-malty with good attenuation. Caramel and soft smoke with lingering vanilla, light nuts and earth with more drying char building. Very clean and very flavorful. Nicely smoked without needing to go the full salt and bacon route.

Tree House No Surprises
Side pull at Charlton, 4/9/24. Clear brass-golden. Medium-sized, white head slowly to spotty cover. Dusty, dried herbs and cracker. Not hugely aromatic, oddly enough. Bit of lemon and bread breaking through. Light acidity and mineral. Clean. Lots of zesty lemon and dried herbs. Lightly chewy Pils malt with a hint of honey and chewy white bread. Decently malty, well-attenuated. Mellow and without too much acidity from hop. There's a bit of dullness coming from somewhere, but otherwise this is very clean, highly flavorful and balanced. Light-to-moderate yeast signature, somewhat overshadowed by the hoppy finish.

Tree House Trail - Elk Mountain Amarillo
Charlton side pull, 4/9/24. Bright, slightly hazy, lemon-golden. Mountain of well-retained, snow white head. Soft, brightly fruity and zesty with no distinct wood that you get from most Amarillo. Just mineral and juicy fruits and light gummy candies. Clean with hints of honey and. Cracker from the malt to gently balance. Gummy candies, Meyer lemon, strawberries. All soft but with a zesty, gently bitter undercurrent. Deep malts with high attenuation. Clean, bright, mellow and incredibly drinkable.
