hawthorne00	3.2 Shangri-La Fat Dolma Bottle. Somewhat cloudy pale amber with a coat of white head. Aroma is clove heavy with some banana, tangy crackers. Medium bodied. Carbonation is a bit on the low side. Moderately sweet with some bread crust, twangy wheat, a little banana. No particular bitterness but leans enough towards dry with cloves and coriander at the end. Holds the alcohol well. Not bad at all. Could really have used a few more bubbles. Monday, July 4, 2022

Goldbarren	3.1 Shangri-La Tibetan Pale Ale Bei Tibet denkt man nicht unbedingt an wogende Braugerstefelder und Hopfengärten, aber erstmal kann man den Namen im Ausland gut nutzen und die zahlreichen Touristen trinken dort sicher auch Bier. Es hat mich verwundert, dass man nicht ein einfaches Lager nimmt, sondern gleich ein komplexeres PA braut. Es ist dabei gar nicht schlecht. Es hat anschmiegsame, nicht zu herbe Hopfenaromen und ist eindeutig als Pale Ale erkennbar. Dazu hat es eine hohe Trinkbarkeit und ist an sich sehr gefällig. Nicht unbedingt die große Aromenvielfalt, aber durchaus voll ok. Ein "Weltreise-Bier", das aber sehr gut gelungen ist. Wednesday, June 12, 2019

I have tasted this beer, yesterday, at home, in Epalinges. In my point of view, it is a rather good porter, similar than the schwarz kristall of Appenzeller. A tasty porter with a black and brown body, yeasty and troubled. It is a malty and fruity porter, pleasant side of nuts, sweet, malty, biscuit of cynnamon, good dosis of hop, there is a side of roasted malt, discreet note of coffee. It is a good beer.
