Brekeriet Funkstarter 2.1
Prawdopodobnie trafiona butelka.

Brekeriet Saison 3.2
Orange color. Medium carbonation. Aromas of barn, grapefruit, green peppers, and roast chicken (yeah, that is odd). Medium body. Bit sweet in the start, a touch of acidity, spicy pepper flavors. Finishes dry and hoppy with some orange notes. Not bad, but not great.

Brekeriet Zuur 3.9
Fat på Bishops, Örebro. Ljus blekgul, utan skum. Doft av grön vindruva, päronsaft, citronkoncentrat och lite sockersötma. Både syra och sötma i doft. Medelstor kropp, nästan lite oljig. Inte sådär supertorr som annars är karaktäristiskt för stilen. Stor syrlighet i smaken. Vinäger, lite melon. Fräsch.

Brekeriet Bruno 3.5
Bottle. Pours a deep mahogany-hued brown body with a medium cloudy light beige head. Nose is nuts, grains, mild lactic notes and hints of hay and caramel. Taste is sour lactic notes, grains, wood, sour grape juice, dark berries and hints of caramel, bread and mild citrus. Medium to light body, medium to high carbonation. The mix between brown/amber ale malt base and the rather mild lactic sourness is unfamiliar; sort of an Oud Bruin but not quite. Interesting.and pretty tasty.

Aroma is rather brilliant with grapefruit and earthy notes – feels like cantillon! Flavour has grapefruit, earthy tones, gooseberry bush. Feels rather sour and tart. You could hand be a glass of this and tell me it is Cantillon – and I’d believe.

Brekeriet Tourbé 3.3
(650ml bottle shared, VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Apr 5 2016) Pours slightly hazy dark gold with small persistent white head. Nose is peat smoke like woah. Sharp and bone dry. Slight touch of lacto in behind and some subtle pale malt sweetness. Flavour, in comparison, is only nearly completely peat! There is also a bunch of grapefruit, light yoghurt lacto and some wheat. And then bam, peat is back again, all over that bone dry finish. Light bodied, high carb. Interesting combination but for me it doesn’t gel, the peat is a bit too overwhelming with the rest of the beer not providing the supporting structure.

Brekeriet Sour White 3.8
(650ml bottle shared @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Apr 5 2016) Pours gold with a white ring of bubbles, slight haze. Aroma is rather sour and very funky. Lemon and grapefruit zest, lactic yoghurt and lemon juice, goose berry, wet funky earth, fecal, dry white wine, wheat. Flavour is less acidic than the nose, white wine, lemon/orange/grapefruit blend, a touch of stone fruit and lacto. A mineral feel to the finish, almost bitter with wet stone and citrus peel, some hay. Light to medium bodied with light, sprightly carbonation. Nice stuff, more drinkability than the nose suggests, channels a lot of unoaked white wine vibes really.

Brekeriet Sour White 3
Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Valkendorfsgate, Bergen. Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow body with a small white head. Nose is wheat, minerals, straw and hints of banana and mild lactic notes. A bit faint. Taste is wheat, yogurt, straw, pale malts and hints of minerals, banana and red berries. Medium body and carbonation. Light and refreshing sour wheat ale without that much going on really. Good as a thirst-quencher but I miss the little extra. More lactic sourness, perhaps? Brekeriet can do a lot better than this.

Brekeriet Saison 3.3

Brekeriet Saison 3.2
330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.5%. Slightly hazy deep golden colour, moderate white head. Distinctly spicy aroma with notes of saison yeast, also "farmhouse" notes of brettanomyces and woodwork. Medium dry and distinctly spicy flavour, with a rather blunt bitterness. Not very refined in its character, but not a bad beer.

Brekeriet Funkstarter 3.3
330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.0%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Nice funky aroma of farmhouse, horse stable, fermenting apples. The flavour is less sour than I expected, with a more pronounced hoppy bitterness than in any other "farmhouse" ale I’ve tasted. dry, moderately funky and yeasty / peppery, but first and foremost bitter - too bitter for the style, I think. Not a bad beer though.
