3.7 White Street Hoptimist IPA Can (10/11/22) pour at Santerita’s restaurant Raleigh airport. It’s yellow with off-white head coming out of the can. Aroma is strong citrus over pine. Taste is strong citrus and pine with late mango. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. 1.1 White Street Hoptastic Juicy IPA Take my rating with a grain of salt, I do not like IPA. So, if you do like IPA, don't look at my numbers, the lower the better! Smell is a little off, like that of the BO found in the olfactory of diesel fuel. Look, the taste is heavy and hoppy, rather mouth coating heavy duty BS. Yes, its strong and yes its bitter. Terribly on style. Possibly bordering into double IPA territory. Difficult, can't really enjoy. Hops rototilling across the taste buds of my tongue, whew. Can't get used to this style, even after 15 years, but after all, its just a tick on my way to 10K. Heheheh. there, you have it. This orange and purpled can is simply just one big nasty nellie. Like IPA? Try it, it's just like one of a million on style IPA out there. And guess what? They all taste the same, HAH! Tell, me, how many have that taste the same? Just asking. 2.3 White Street Merideum Yea, this can I picked up at total wine for about 2$ carries a pretty good kick! Its clear pale running around looking like a pale lager. Macro lager lovers beware; this brew looks innocent but its truly a triple, a belgian trippel, that is almost 3 times the alky content of a cheap pale lager, LOL. It has much of that real old country feel but it actually needs more manners if you want to say it has the character of a real triple. Its just not as friendly or civilized. It somewhat needs a little more low pass filterin to be on the level of most trippels. THis could ne'er even lick the boots of Het Kapittel Watou, Chimay Triple, Church Brew Millennium, Tröegs Naked Elf or even Witkap Pater. Just saying; yes it does have a kick but it needs to be a lt' more laid back in the flavor and attitude if wants to be a real tripel; there, you have it. Thursday, January 6, 2022

2.6 White Street Kolsch De geur is redelijk neutraal. Wenig schuim als je uitschenkt. De smaak valt mee, maar is niet geweldig. Wednesday, December 22, 2021

2.5 White Street Kolsch Got this can in NC at total wine. Very clear pale yellow with a big foaming head. Smell's like good fresh lager beer. First taste is better than expected, decent unassuming civil beer. Its nice to see a clean filtered beer once in a while, especially if its friendly tot he palate. Yes, an easy going kolsch with a tad of fruitiness in there that is much appreciated. In the middle, a little bit of that kloschy bitterness starts to become apparent but its nit that rude immature sharp bitter bite so common in domestic varieties. In the end I enjoyed this but the bitterness did start to rise up and almost become apparent to the buds. I don't think I've had a reasonable kolsch lately. Friday, November 12, 2021

3 White Street Cranberry Kolsch Month old can A: Poured crystal clear pale magenta tinged gold with minimal head leaving a bit lace around the rim. S: Muted wine and sweet bread aroma. T: Sweet tart with a lasting berry note. Tasty but much like a wine spritzer with just enough malt to slightly resemble a kolsch. M: Light body, average carbonation and a wet vinous finish. O: Not bad if you're looking for an off kilter Kolsch. Should pair well with turkey, etc. Saturday, November 14, 2020

3.6 White Street Relaxession 6 week old bottle A: Clear pale gold with active carbonation but very little head, retention or lace. S: Very citrusy with orange, tangerine and faint caramel T: Woody malt, citrus and tropical hops all noticed at first sip with the wood and toast lingering with some sweetness into a more tropical melon-y aftertaste. M: Light body but a somewhat round mouthfeel defies its ABV a bit. Spritzy carbonation provides high drinkability. O: Very tasty and fairly distinctive. I like it a lot and will buy again.
