Humble Gonzilla IIPA 3.3
On at the NanoBrewfest. Pours a cloudy orange color with a medium white head. A spicy banana and fruit nose, something like sour straw. The flavor is like a slightly sour Wit with fruity banana and bubblegum, hoppy fresh base. Somehow it is OK.

Humble Gonzilla IIPA 3.8
On draught during the 7th Annual Nano Beer Fest at Max’s Fanno Creek Brew Pub. Very hazy grapefruit color. Aroma started out quite badly, with sour vinegar, but evened out into sweet citrus yeast, almost like a saison. Taste is tart tropical citrus hops, bubblegum yeast, and a touch of pine. A slight paradox, in a good way: a very smooth hop bomb.

Humble Humble’s Comet 3.8
On draught at 8th Annual Cheers to Belgian Beers. Hazy yellow golden color. Aroma is fruity yeast, with tart notes of pear and citrus. Taste is sweet pear, clove, yeast, and citrus hops. Very smooth and balanced.

Humble Comet Rye’d 3.5
On tap at Saraveza, pours a cloudy golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out rye, subtle candied sugar, and farmhouse notes. Flavour is quite hop-forward for a farmhouse ale, followed by floral notes, some dry farmhouse notes and ending on dry hops. Well-constructed, with a hoppy forward note. Good stuff.

Humble Saaz Saison 3.7
On tap at Saraveza’s Farmhouse and Wild Ale Festival, pours a cloudy golden-tinged yellow with a medium white head. Aroma of wheat, farmhouse notes and light citrus notes. Flavour of wheat, grassy hops, slightly spicy, citrus hops and some lightly tart lemony notes. Full flavoured, dominating by citrusy and dry wheaty notes. Highly drinkable. Great stuff.

On draught at Bailey’s Taproom. Clean and crisp saison with a spicy, herbal quality to it. Easy-drinking with a hint of the Saaz hops.
