Travlr	4 Loowit Grimlock Rye Porter Draft at Skout in Ashland. Pretty much opaque dark brown color light beige head. Aroma of baking brownies. Taste is lightly spiced cocoa with earthy coffee grounds. Nice Wednesday, April 10, 2024
coasternut	4 Loowit / Threshold Brewing Red Ones Go Fastah This beer pours a darker amber color with a medium head. Aroma is citrus and roasted malts. The hop profile doesn't taste like 59 IBUs, though it does have a very nice hop bitterness. This is a clean and crisp beer and quite good for a hoppy red ale. I normally like my IPAs to taste like IPAs and my Red Ale to taste like malt and slightly sweet. I've never been a big fan of NW Red Ales, but this one is different and probably the only NW style Red that I really like. Tuesday, February 6, 2024
coasternut	4.4 Loowit Truman's Goddamn Strong Ale I forgot to rate this beer when I had it this past June. From a bottle that has a date of 2016 on it. For a seven-year-old beer it was very, very good. Very smooth body and mouthfeel. Definitely strong on alcohol. The taste was Toffee, whiskey, vanilla, oak and dark sweetness. coasternut	4.2 Loowit War Tortoise - Barrel Aged Remember having this beer a few years ago and remembering it being excellent. A nice blend of ingredients that were melded together very well. It has a mild sweetness with chocolate, bourbon, vanilla and a hint of coffee. Need to go back this fall and get some more. Tuesday, February 6, 2024
coasternut	3.9 Loowit Astromech Had last night at the brewery. Pours a nice golden color with a decent head that stays for a while. Aromas of tropical fruit, mango, melon and orange. Not much hop bitterness. Nice light, easy drinking beer with a good flavor. Tuesday, February 6, 2024
coasternut	3.4 Loowit Grimlock Rye Porter This beer pours a dark brown color with a minimal head that leaves some lacing. The aroma is sweet chocolate and a hint of coffee and a hint of spiciness. A little bitterness from middle to finish. I'm not big into porters but this one is pretty decent. Tuesday, February 6, 2024
coasternut	3.2 Loowit Wiggles This is a nice-looking beer on the pour, clear and golden in color with a decent amount of head. The aroma is a little strange for a Pilsner, more on the bitter side of things. With the hop profile it tastes more like an ESB or a cold IPA. It's not bad just different. Saturday, February 3, 2024

coasternut	2.9 Loowit Stormcrow (Tiramisu Inspired Stout) Pours a dark brown color with an off-white head that turns into a ring around the glass. Aroma is chocolate, coffee and sweetness. Taste is too much coffee for my taste. Not a bad beer by any means. If you like the coffee taste, you'll probably enjoy this beer more than I did. It has a nice bitterness throughout. stevoj	3.6 Loowit / Grains of Wrath Dawn Breaker 16oz can from Brewers Haven. Golden pour, light cloudiness, thin foamy head. A hit of melon wafts up at the first crack of the can, light tropical notes, hint of weed. Taste is a blend of tropical and mildly dank hops, light bitterness, drying out towards the finish. Fatehunter	3.6 Loowit Snow's Ghost A hazy darker straw body with a couple fingers of head. Aroma is vanilla, toast, coffee, and chocolate. Taste is coffee and chocolate bitter, a long bitter finish. Texture is soft and thick. Monday, April 10, 2023
coasternut	3.4 Loowit Qu'est-ce Que C'est? This is a different type of Belgian as far as taste goes. It has a hint of the Belgian yeast (banana/clove), not as strong as most Belgians though. Doesn't taste like a 9.5 ABV beer. This is a nice smooth drinking beer. The flavor profile is mild also which makes the taste quite mild, but the mild yeast is what makes it interesting. coasternut	4.8 Loowit Super Shinobi This is one awesome beer. I've had it in my beer cellar for 5 years and had it a couple of nights back. It is smooth, strong and delicious. It pours a dark brown/black with no head other than a ring around the glass. It has a dried and mulled fruit flavor with a nice dark roasted malt. This is the way strong beers should be. coasternut	3.7 Loowit Sky Forge This beer pours a little darker orange with a minimal head and a bit of an alcohol nose. The alcohol seems stronger than it's 9.4 ABV suggests. It is still a decent double. It is a nice sipping beer with a nice ratio of malt and hops. Thursday, March 9, 2023
coasternut	3.9 Loowit Adventure's Guild This is a decent IPA with a citrus hop flavor. It pours an almost hazy yellow color with a medium head that is a cream colored. It has an aroma of malt, yeast and grassy biscuit. Another well-balanced beer. Quite tasty. Thursday, March 9, 2023

coasternut	4.1 Loowit Multidimensional Intergalactic Chocolate Raspberry 10th Anniversary Pastry Stout Had at brewery last night. I'm not a big stout drinker, but this beer is fantastic. It has a nice aroma of sweetness, chocolate and berry, and the taste is the same. The nose is sweet and no coffee taste which I really like. The raspberry taste comes through which I find refreshing as other beers that say raspberry on the label don't have as much berry flavor as this one. Thursday, March 9, 2023

coasternut	3.9 Loowit Iron Rabbit Had this beer a couple weeks ago on tap. This beer was quite sparkling and fresh tasting. The aroma was tropical citrus and other tropical fruits. Nice balance between hops and malt, with a mellow smooth finish. Thursday, March 9, 2023

coasternut	4.3 Loowit Robot Overlord This beer pours a hazy yellow with not much of a head. Aroma is tropical fruit and melon with some hop notes. Taste is slightly sweet and fruity with a good malt body which makes the mouthfeel medium. This has got to be one of my favorite NEIPAs. Finishes smooth. On tap at Killer Burger.
