3.8 Burgers And Brew Rapture On tap @ Burgers & Brew. Brown in color with a khaki head. Nose is big on the caramel malts, toffee, and chocolate. Really nice vanilla, too. Pretty creamy and malt forward. Nice sweetness to it all the way through. Mild floral hops, some toasted nuts, and milk chocolate. Quite nice, particularly for a style I don’t normally like. 3.8 Burgers And Brew Rapture Tap at the Davis venue. Pours dark ruddy brown (7.7%) with a creamy tan head. Aroma seems pine. Med body or better. Flavor is nutty malty, touch of chocolate and maybe pine. Drier than not. Seems to develop a hint of phenolic eartth, which adds interest. Good drink. Thursday, February 27, 2014

3.4 Burgers And Brew Sacrament On draught at Burgers & Brew in the Sacramento airport. The beer pours a clear orange color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Stringy lacing. Aroma of hops, citrus and yeast. Medium body with flavors of citrus, mild hops and herbal yeast. The finish is short and fruity. Decent overall. Friday, November 2, 2012
