3.5 Tunnfield Back to Black Cask @ Winter Beer Festival, Prince of Wales, Shrewsbury. Pours a promising pitch black with a good beige head. Dry stout flavours, chocolate malts, nice rich taste although not as thick mouthfeel as I expected. My first from Tunnfield and it’s not bad at all. Monday, February 24, 2014

2.6 Tunnfield Devil's Chair Hand-pulled pint in the Bear, Hodnet, Shropshire on 8th Sep 2013. Clear amber body with an off-white head which produced some impressive lacing. Odourless (might have been served too cold): the taste was hop woody and nutty with a dry finish. Refreshing, but a little bland overall. Sunday, September 8, 2013

3.2 Tunnfield Cannon Rock Hand-pulled pint in The Crown Inn, Oakengates on 1 Aug 2013. True amber body, clean and clear: the off-white head produced some impressive lacing as the beer level fell away. Semi-sweet biscuity malts with a floral hop note or two in the nose: the taste following that lead. Some caramel traces in the flavour, this prevented any hint of a dry or bitter finish. OK, my first beer from this new brewery. Friday, August 2, 2013
