PowY	3.3 Toro Néctar From tap at Brewer Gastro Pub, Queretaro. Hazy amber color with an off-white head. The aroma is lightly hoppy - pine, sweet citric fruits - and lightly malty - bread, biscuit. Medium body with a light to medium bitterness and a light sweetness. The flavor is light to medium hoppy and lightly malty and similar to the aroma - lemon, grapefruit, pine, bread, biscuit. andrewje41	3.4 Toro Mestizo 12 oz bottle poured at Wing Army, Playa Del Carmen. Interesting, yet easy choice for my first craft selection of my trip. My mezcal experiences are limited, so I really wish you were here to share this one, luttonm! A darker golden pour, apple juice in the shade. Speaking of apples, there is some apple like fruit on the aroma, some sweet malt, a fantastic cinnamon. A lot of apple comes through in the flavor as well, some cinnamon like spice, a touch of smoke character, but very light. Slight herbal feel. Good flavor here. I enjoyed this. Friday, April 20, 2018

Percy0103	1.6 Toro Golden Ale Bottle, 355ml. An opaque golden with a lot of sediments and a medium size foany head. Aroma is of cheap candy, anis and caramel. Taste is moderately bitter and moderately sweet. Not very strong. Again reminds me of cheap candy that has been mixed with water. Sdaniel90	1.4 Toro Supernova Bottle, 355ml. Opaque dark brown, with a creamy to minimal beige head. Intense spicy aroma, which the brewer likes to think is incredibly complex ("contains in it’s recipe an original mixture of 5 aromatic spices and piloncillo, which makes it different"), but it just seems like a clumsy mash of spices to me. Percy0103	1 Toro Supernova Bottle, 355ml. A dark beer with a reddish hue at the bottom and a small head that fades away almost completely after a minute. Sdaniel90	3 Toro Mestizo Bottle, 355ml. Clear golden with visible sediment and a fizzy offwhite head that dissolves quickly. Sweet agave alcohol character of mezcal with a smoked touch. Must smell amazing if mezcal is your thing, but I found it deeply discouraging. Medium bodied and dry. Tastes like mezcal watered down with mineral water. I respect Toro for acheiving what they set out to do: create a fermented, beerish version of mezcal. Not something many brewers who have attempted this can say (cough cough Calamachos). Percy0103	1.6 Toro Mestizo Bottle, 355ml. A clear yellow beer with a head that fades away instantly. Aroma is of mezcal and alcohol. Not very pleasant in my opinion. Taste is bitter and very strong, especially at the end. I guess it tastes like mezcal. I have only tasted another beer that is made with mezcal (Pagana and Del Rey´s Calamacho), but I´m starting to think mezcal and beer should never go together. I couldn´t even finish it. patxa	3.5 Toro Mestizo Una de las mejores cervezas de especialidad en México. Incorpora el agave a una receta de pale Ale bien ejecutada. Cuerpo medio, media carbonacion, espuma ligera, poca huella, predomina el sabor amargo y ahumado del agave, con alguna nota citrica hacia el final. Paladar acorde al tipo, con acabado corto. patxa	2 Toro Golden Ale La menos interesante de las 3 variedades que esta microcerveceria mexicana elabora, el problema esta en su casi inexistente aroma a pan y levadura, y un paladar q no se sostiene bien en el retrogusto. Parece también más una heffeweizen que una golden Ale, cuya receta es la que se usa. El precio también es elevado.
