mountdad	3.9 Beer Baroness Quality Time 440ml can. Pours an very deep red/brown with a minor tan head. This won a sliver at the Brewers Guild Awards & was awarded at the Stout Challenge so some form. Aroma is dark roasted malts with some warmth & nuttiness. Beer is medium bodied and opens with sweet malty notes with a solid depth. A bit of hop bitterness but it is well integrated & I struggle to pick up many individual flavours. ABV is well hidden too. Nice Porter with a good depth of flavour. Monday, April 3, 2023

Soft tropical fruit aroma with lychees, Asian pineapple, some mango, peach, light bread, hints of citrus. But there's more of a lime and more vibrant tropical note in the taste. Beer is smooth, mildly sweet with rich, medium roast malts & as per, a healthy dose of hops. Rich & long flavours with mild bitterness so you are left with flavour not just drying bitterness. Light body, almost watery with that same fruity & farmy flavours on a light malt & bitterness level. Easy to drink with the rapidly fading carbonation but the flavours just seem to clash. 5.2% ABV.
