NOt sure where to put this so IPA it is. 16 oz. can from Lifesource Natural Grocers in Salem OR. $4.29 Pours a semi hazy peach flesh color with a lovely frothy/clingy large white head. Aroma is slightly sweet blood oranges and some semi sour berries. Nice . Some small amount of floral hopping evident. Flavor has oranges..but also a bit of bitter grapefruit, the berries and some yeastiness. Its nice. MOuth feel is quite heavy and smooth drinking..Bitter after taste. Really amazing aromas of chocolate cake , dark coffee, and hot cacao. Taste the same as the aroma but with some really nice chili pepper. Chocolate Cake with coffee and chili! Dry Hopped Mexican Lager Pours the expected corn oil coloured body but the head is big and frothy. Aroma is just sweet malt as far as i can discern..maybe a tiny bit of grassy hop if i stick my nose into the can. Taste is not really my idea of a Mexican Lager..not enough corn. Its quite sweet has some mineral appeal. This seems more a sweeter kolsch to me. Mouth feel is average for the supposed style. I didnt like this too much. The sweetness gets cloying in the end.
