18th Street Overlord’s Revenge
This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a very softly carbonated semi-transparent light orange colored body and a fair lacing. The weak aroma was musty. The sharp mild citrus mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish hoppy aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of mild citrus and hops. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

Sample at a Systembolaget tasting. Funky and fruity smell with some hops in the background. Similar taste. Light-medium bitterness. More of a funky pale ale then an IPA. But a nice one at that!

Wysokie ciało i fajnie oleista faktura. Niestety, średniak.

Juicy hop aroma and taste, mango, pineapple, resin, oily texture, lots of grapefruit in the aftertaste. Delicious IPA with the alcohol well hidden, but not sure this has the hop profile of a double IPA.

Well, this is a cinnamon monster if every such a thing exists. It pours black w/ a frothy head. I am not sure if it’s autolysis or the sea salt but this does come off a little soy saucy. It’s sweet but oddly light bodied. There’s a bunch of aged/oxidized character to it and it’s a little bit hot, esp. for 7%. This is drinkable and I do like the spices but there is a lot to be improved on in this beer.

This draft brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy with a frothy top finely sized white colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a uncarbonated transparent weak yellow orange colored body and a poor lacing. The weak aroma was malt hop. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. The ok flavor contained notes of mild citrus dough and hops. An OK brew just nothing special.

Rated on 8-30-2016 (Can) The appearance is a medium sized frothy, fizzy white head that mostly diminished, transparent yellow body, fizzy, lively, fast rising carbonation, and very little lacing. The aroma is citrus hops, light pine hops, floral, juicy, lemon, grapefruit, fruity, hot, and malt. The flavor presents moderate bitterness, citrus hops, fruity, lemon, grapefruit, light tropical fruit, sweet, and dry. The mouthfeel is moderate carbonation and this beer is light bodied. A quaffable beer but I did not particularly care for the taste of it. It is a bit too bitter tasting for me.

hazy dark golden to orange colour, medium sized creamy yellowish off-white head; aroma of intensive (tropical) fruitiness with mango, tangerine, grapefruit, maybe some peach, too, caramel and pine resiny notes, as well as hints of floral honey; bittersweet taste with sweet, overripe fruits (tangerine, mango), grapefruit and some spicy alcohol in the aftertaste; great IIPA! If its taste would provide as perfect experience as the aroma, then it would be a first class, world-champion masterpiece
