fiulijn	2.6 Spinnaker Bay Keel Over Scotch Ale Draught at Columbia City Ale House, Seattle; 10oz; 8% ABV Dark amber color with creamy head. Amber Ale, not even as bold as the abv would suggest, a lot of caramel, moderately sweet, and with butter in aroma and flavor. Didn’t like this one so much. Saturday, June 18, 2016
beastiefan2k	3.5 Spinnaker Bay Black High Heel CDA Draft at brewery. Black beer worth a tan head. This may very well be the last Spinaker Bay beer I ever drink. When I moved to Seattle this was the closets brewery to my house. However, soon a closer very opened up and this place still required a drive. Plus, they don’t allow dogs and the beer was never that exciting. Alas, I’m moving soon and this may be my lady hurrah. This beer, well it’s not bad. Though nothing about it makes me want to drink it again. Sort of describes the brewery. Thursday, June 2, 2016
beastiefan2k	3.6 Spinnaker Bay Don't Panic! Porter Draft at brewery. Black beer with ghost white head. The defining character here is a bitter black malt finish. Not sweet, a mineral quality cutting through the beer offsetting some of the black malts. A little toffee mixed up in there. Decent enough porter. Thursday, June 2, 2016
beastiefan2k	3.7 Spinnaker Bay Vessel Assist Draft at brewery. Muddy brown color, clear but dirty looking. I don’t believe it’s 9.7, can’t taste the etoh. Tasty though just like a Scotch ale should be, earthy, not sweet, low hops. Right up my flavor preference. Maybe a little sweet and a little cherry like astringency coming off the alcohol. andrewje41	4.2 Spinnaker Bay Vessel Assist - Barrel Aged Draft pour at Spinnaker Bay. Dark reddish brown pour with a ton of cream foam head. Dark fruit swayed woody aroma. Cherry like. Flavor is a nice blend of cranberry and oak like character. Nice, smooth scotch finish, without near the double digit abv burn I expected. Excellent scotch ale here. Sunday, April 17, 2016

ACHops	3.4 Spinnaker Bay High Heel On tap @ Spinnaker Bay. Pours heavily murky orangish amber with virtually no head. Aroma is thin sweet caramel malt; floral juicy hops on the back. Taste is sugary very sweet caramel malt, hops are lightly juicy with notes of passionfruit and pine. Rather flat. Not bad, nothing remarkable either. Sunday, February 28, 2016
ACHops	3.3 Spinnaker Bay Slippery Sloop IPA On tap @ Spinnaker Bay. Pours very pale golden with medium thick white head that fades quickly. Aroma is thin malt, sharply bitter grassy hops. andrewje41	3.8 Spinnaker Bay Black High Heel CDA Draft 10 Oz pour at Hop and Hound as part of my "taking beer out of hiatus" series. Just over a year on this one. Pours damn near black with a foam ran head. Big roasted aroma here. Flavor is dark roasted malts, and forest hops. Piney. Toasty with a hop bitter finish. I feel like this is a true, full on example of what the style is supposed to be, and I feel like they nailed it. Well done. Thursday, February 18, 2016

beastiefan2k	3.3 Spinnaker Bay A Little Dinghy Blonde Shaker draft at local seafood restaurant. Clear dull gold color. Some head but no lacing. Once it warms up you get the flaws. A real husky malt comes out, leafy greens, and herbally but not in the fun way emerge. Flavor is similar. I like the lack of sweetness in flavor. A bitter random happiness emerges as well. They purposely made sure to tell me that it’s supposed to be a sour. Surprise me when it wasn’t that sour. Aroma is sour-esque Swedish fish and gin botanicals. Flavor is tighter with less sweetness, a moderate musk sourness akin to spoiled fruit. Lots of gin botanicals. Herbal aftertaste. I guess I like gin barrels. Friday, May 1, 2015

The rest of the beer is not worth discussing because its diacetyl. And once you work past that you get a faded hop character. Again, why barrel age hoppy beers. Nose was grassy and stale for me, and seemed to be laden with isovaleric acid. Taste is slightly sweet up front and bitter later, but has that stale old awful taste. Did not like this.
