I was happy that this beer wasn’t overcome by Belgian yeast notes as so many other beers around the area. A sweet body with a Belgian characteristic. A strong enough body to handle and allow the 7% alcohol.

Just a bit stronger than the pale ale. A sweet aroma with some hoppy notes. Body is smooth, sessionable, and only ends hoppy. Bitterness subsides quickly.

I am not beer expert by far, but I love this beer. If you are in greenwood and have the time, I challenge you to find this place, and when you do, tell em that Joe sent ya!! Also, looking at this, I think the ABV comes in slightly higher than advertised on this site, something like 8% sounds more accurate

Growler.Smoky malt, and light blue cheese hops aroma. Slightly hazy copper with a small white head. Just like the nose, smoky malt and blue cheese hops flavor. Body on the light side of medium, soft carbonation. Crazy weird, but I like it! The smokiness is nicely balance. Not a bad one for my 50th smoked rating.

Planetary Elstree
Draft at 18th Annual IMB Summer Fest:

Pours a dirty brown with some head. The aroma has notes of roast, toffee, caramel, earthy yeast, tobacco, and some resiny hop esters. The taste is moderately sweet and malt forward, hint of wood, toast and apricots. Slight hop bitterness and some booze on the finish. Aggressive around the edges but overall soft mouth feel. This needs more time to firm up and gain complexity, still a noble effort.
