Gravicask third, main bar at the Spa Valley 9th Beer & Cider Festival. Shared with Finn. Dark reddish-brown body, spotty lacing, filmy layer. Smell of dark bread and berry-fruits. Brown malty flavours of toffee and nuts, added by moments of berry fruits. Mid-sweet malt-berry finish. Satisfying. (Tunbridge Wells 18.10.2019).

Firebrick Tormit Heed
"Agreeable Autumn ale. A malty, fruity, deep amber beer. A complex grain bill and hopping give a long palate and many background flavours including toffee, Autumn fruits, warm orange and liquorice. The word Tormit came from 19th Century Northern dialect and meant Turnip. Our label shows Wylie's fantastic "Turnip Keepers Lantern" and depicts the legend of Jack O' Lantern, with an added bicycle to speed up Jack's search! Our rich warming beer should conjure up the excitement and smells of childhood autumn evenings, and Halloween." 500ml Bottle from A Taste of Northumbria. Drank appropriately on Halloween! Copper coloured with a thin white head. It has a nutty, dried fruit and chocolate flavour with roasted notes, plum and liquorice on the finish. Good.
