Old rating from 22-09-16 - A 400ml draft pour at the brewery tap in Florence. A hazy Amber colour with a off white head. Aromas of malt, grass & bread. Tastes of citrus, grain, malt & bread leading to a fairly bitter aftertaste. Not a beer I'd have a second off.

Ottima rappresentante di uno stile molto interessante. Le note dei malti scuri si uniscono ai luppoli aromatici e quello che ne esce è una birra che si beve con estremo piacere.

Keg at the brewpub in Florence in Florence. A hazed yellow straw coloured pour with a frothy white head. Aroma is sour tangy, malts, wheat, apple, lemon rind and dung. Flavour is composed tar, bitter dirty hop, German hefe yeast I guess? This beer is a complete mess of flavours. Palate is medium sweet, grainy, flabby, moderate carbonation. Lingering dirty grains and grassy hop. Bad beer.

on tap @ Archea Brewing / Fierenze --- Clear medium dark amber, ivory head that quickly drops to a frothy rim, lace sheets. Taste is mild semi-sweet malt and caramel, light fizz, and light hops. The whole shebang is agreeable enough, but it is also mouth drying and heavy in the belly. A non-starter for me.

on tap @ Archea Brewing / Fierenze --- Slightly hazy medium amber, bubbly while head that drops to a full cover, curtain of lace. Taste is citrusy caramel malt that has light fizz followed by light European hops. Simple, but very drinkable - one I would have again.

on tap @ Archea Brewing / Fierenze --- Hazy light malt color, white head that drops to a full cover, full lace curtain. Taste is straight light malt that has light carbonation, then fairly strong European hops. Hops move solidly through a long "dry your mouth" finish. No re-dos here.

On tap at the brewey bar. A decent IPA, more of the gentle British type than an American hop-loaded style. Some resinous and bready notes with light citrusy taste, some bitterness.

Heavy sweet flavor with hints of floral hops, pale bread, dough, honeysuckle, lemon peel. Full bodied with average carbonation. Sugary finish with lots of doughy white bread, some creamy vanilla, hay, meringue. So so.
