3.6 Liberty Village Dry Cider Peach Pours light yellow with thin see through head. Aroma of peach is natural. Taste is great balance of apple and peach. Apple gives it bit of tartness and dry finish while peach hits you with light sweetness at start. Saturday, April 16, 2022

2.6 Liberty Village Extra Dry Cider Can that pours a very, very light yellow-golden colour with a small bubbly cap leaving quickly, but with a tiny foam ring. Mild aromas of apple, but not sweet and feeling some dryness, almost like it is hopped. The taste definitely does not show any sweetness. Very light apples taste, and very dry. Some yeast seems to show on the tongues in the finish. Exactly what you would expect from this cider, as the label says. Very well done. Friday, March 27, 2020

1.8 Liberty Village Extra Dry Cider 473 ml can from the LCBO. Pours a clear ultra pale yellow colour with thin white head. Aroma is very mild with dry apple. Flavour is also ridiculously muted with some dry apple and pear. Lighter carbonation. This isn’t offensive tasting but it’s way too bland. Saturday, August 24, 2019

1.7 Liberty Village Extra Dry Cider I bought this because I previously lived in Liberty Village for a year, and thought, neat name, I'll give it a try. I thought about buying 2 cans, but at the steep price of $5.58 per can (!!!) thought otherwise, and took home one can only - thank GOD!!! I put it in the fridge to let it cool down to a nice refreshing temperature, popped the tab, and took in a mouthful. First sensation was the coolness, and smoothness of it, then the taste of very acidic ....apples? Which then very suddenly went away, and left me with what I can only describe as the taste of cigarette butts in my mouth. No apple, no sugar (extra dry), not even a sensation of moistness, but ashes! I had to force myself to try to finish this can, but each gulp was agony; this is one of the worst ciders I have ever tasted! The reason I am writing this review is because I wasn't even half-way done drinking this premium-priced brew, when (while watching a movie on the TV) my stomach started gurgling, and I thought WTF...oh oh, and ran for the toilet. I barely made it before I puked out all of what I had consumed, and then some! The acid from this brew was so harsh, that it felt like the vomit was burning my teeth, and I had to chew on toothpaste until it felt better again. I couldn't believe it! I drink regularly, and never, never puke, especially with half a can of cider an hour after a tasty dinner, and no other alcohol consumed yet!!!! I poured the second half of the can into the toilet, and so...somewhat poetically, this entire can of liquid crap will eventually find it's way back to Lake Ontario, and will be reunited with it's buddies near Liberty Village. Word of advice, DO NOT DRINK THIS GARBAGE! Thursday, June 13, 2019

1.9 Liberty Village Extra Dry Cider Can from the lcbo. Pours, well..... Shit, this looks like water. Carbonated water with no head. Aroma is tart apples and pears. Very dry and sharp tasting. The apples fade, it's just a tart, watery random sweet juice. It's like very watered down cider with a bunch of citric acid added for tartness. It's refreshing, but shit, it's basically tart water. Meh. Sunday, May 5, 2019

4.4 Liberty Village 504 Pale Ale This was excellent, and my first experience with the company. IPA's are probably my favourite, so I may be rating it a tad high, but it was extremely delicious and refreshing. A solid A in my books. Friday, February 16, 2018

3.5 Liberty Village Gosebuster 2015-04-08. Lightly hazy dark yellow body with a nice white head. 3+ Aroma is sort of floral, yeasty, and fruity. 7+ The flavour is also pleasantly fruity, very light citrus notes amongst a more generic fruit character, very lightly sour. 7+ Smooth average body. Very quaffable with enough flavour to be interesting. On tap at Duke’s Refresher, Toronto. Friday, April 10, 2015

3.6 Liberty Village 504 Pale Ale 2015-01-08. Dark yellow body with a moderate off-white head and lace. 3+ Interesting hop character is familiar but I can’t quite place the hops. Grassy fresh hops with allusions to citrus and a mango like fruit notes that occasionally produce more impressive moments. 7+ Flavour is moderately bitter throughout, with a similar hop profile as in the aroma, sort of grassy-straw and a fruity melange. Lingering mild bitterness. Average plus bodied palate, good carbonation. Pretty solid, very drinkable. It doesn’t impress at first but grows on me a fair bit the more I drink. On tap at against the grain, Toronto. Sunday, January 18, 2015

3.4 Liberty Village Gummi Beer [5933-20131019] Cask. Sweetened grains aroma. Hazy, orange brown body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Sweet gummies and hoppy flavour. Medium body. 3.4 Liberty Village Double Gummi Beer Cask days 2014. Aroma is matly, with some slight candied citrus zest, and some bready, almost nuttiness. I honestly cant find gummies in here....its just slightly sweet, with some nice fragrant citrus zest. This tastes like an old school canadian apa from about 5-7 years ago. Light west coast hopping with a slightly english malt bill. As far as alcohol, i dont notice any out of the normal potency. Saturday, November 15, 2014

2.8 Liberty Village Double Gummi Beer On cask at cask days event in toronto. Pours deep gold amber in colour. Aroma is very mild - nothing strong or overpowering there. The gummi bears don't seem as strong as with the original gummi beer from the event last year. I think I prefer the original version - it seemed like more candy flavour. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone Sunday, October 26, 2014

2.8 Liberty Village Gosebuster On tap at Bar Volo. I was not impressed with this. I didn’t get any sour notes, wheat flavour or salt. It’s crisp like a cold glass of water. I’ll give them credit for trying to do a Gose, but I wouldn’t order this again. Sunday, September 14, 2014

3.6 Liberty Village Gosebuster [Draught at Tequila Bookworm] Pours a murky gold with an average size long-lasting frothy white head. Mild aroma is lightly sweet along with light citrus, some biscuity malt and a bit of salt. Nice flavour, it could be saltier and tartier but it’s refreshing and enjoyable. A bit sweet, a bit salty, a bit citrusy and with a light tart finish. The more I drink it the saltier it gets, so get a full pint of it. Average to medium bodied. I wish it was even more on style then it is, but it’s really easy to drink and I quite liked it. Monday, August 11, 2014
