Travlr	3.9 Viking Braggot Ragnarok Imperial Stout Draft at the source. Very dark clear brown color, light tan head. Aroma is lightly floral coffee and cocoa. Taste is rich and roasty, earthy coffee grounds, no sweetness to speak of. Tasty Saturday, April 13, 2024

Reid	3.6 Viking Braggot Freyja 16 oz single can purchased from Lifesource Natural Grocer in Salem OR $4.49 Blond Ale Brewed with Wildflower Honey. Pours a pale gold with a small off white head. That goes fast but leaves pretty lacing. Aromas of straw, sweet honey, and a touch of floral hopping. mmm taste is just normal blond ale then the huge notes of honey come in at the end . Its definably wild flower honey, if you have ever tasted a variety of honeys. The tastes are remarkably different from the regular store bough stuff. Nice mouthfeel. Medium full with lovely carbonation. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Nice beer..not sure if this is really a mead? Friday, February 12, 2021

Reid	3.9 Viking Braggot Fenrir 22 oz bottle purchased from Lifesource Natural Grocers in Salem OR $6.99 Very bonny looking drink in the glass dark brown body and small yet solid tan head. Looks great. Nice coffee..dark chocolate aromas..small aspect of honey. Taste similar with a wee bit of ashiness..honey shows in the end..not as sweet as expected..and thats a good thing for me. Mouth feel is excellent..smooth yet light enough to drink fast..plus not cloying due to the ashiness. An interesting drink indeed. I liked it. Tuesday, November 20, 2018

The taste has a good amount of roast along with char and woody aspects. There is some honey character that shows on the finish. One of the few braggots here where I could pick out the honey. The bartender said it spent a long time in the barrel and that the recipe had changed a bit - couldn't tell they were the same base at all. This pours hazy orange with a white head. It has a medium smooth body with semi-sharp carbonation. The taste has brett, funk, stone fruit and rich maltiness. Interesting, but can't take a whole lot of this style these days. DuffMan	4 Viking Braggot Reverence Red Bottle, shared by Grippitis and Mike G. This is a dry-hopped version, but probably doesn’t deserve a new listing. Tawny brown with an average beige head. Toasty bready malts and sweet floral honey with a dry finish. Perfectly balanced, extremely enjoyable. Moderate bitterness. The florals really come forward as it warms. Beautiful, surprising.
