3.2 Private Brewery of BoB Insun Bottle from the Beer Shop in St Albans- or at least, their stall at St Albans Farmer’s Market. Chestnut colour with a very thin off-white head and an annoyingly prickly fizz. Light sour fruit and ash up front gives way to nice fruity malt. There’s growing dry woodsmoke in the extremely dry finish before you’re left with a light but rather mineral-y bitterness in the aftertaste. Not sure how much I liked it but it was certainly more interesting than your average UK microbrewery bitter and for that I’m very grateful. Friday, March 20, 2015

2.6 Private Brewery of BoB Erjob Bottle shared at the Cotteridge Convention 2015. Pours hazy gold with a creamy white head. Tangy citrus in the nose, underscored by pale bread. Moderately sweet with light notes of plastic, some bitter orange rind. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. More plastic notes in the finish. Meh. Saturday, March 14, 2015

1.2 Private Brewery of BoB Erjob Bottle share at Cotteridge Wines. Hazy, cloudy orange, big foamy white head leaves some light lacing. Aroma is light honey-ish malt. Body is medium, high carbonation, foamy. Taste is sweet, pretty sour, thin dodgy flavour. Not hitting my buttons at all I’m afraid. Thursday, January 29, 2015

3.1 Private Brewery of BoB Erjob 24th Jan 2015: shared bottle at the Cotteridge Wines meet. Poured a hazy golden colour with a full white head. Both the nose and taste were an equal blend of sweet maltiness and citrus hop flavours, grapefruit being the main note I picked up. OK but no world beater. Tuesday, January 27, 2015

1.9 Private Brewey of BoB Belhat Bottle from BEER: Shop St Albans (opposite the brewery). Poured a clear chestnut colour, with an off white head that rapidly dissipated to a halo. Quite a strong aroma; super sweet malts, a ton of Christmas-esque spices and candy floss. Initial flavours of roasted nuts, pine needles, bitter rind and Christmas cake. Finish was bitter and rather metallic, but with a lingering mouthful of boiled sweets. Lots of flavours in this, but just far too all over the shop. It’s too busy and the sweetness and Christmas spices are way out of balance. Friday, May 9, 2014

2.7 Private Brewery of BoB Sherunkel Bottled. Dark brown/black with no head. Nice coffee aroma with hint of blackcurrant. A thin, acidic start in the mouth, and while the coffee is evident later, there’s nothing to balance the overly dry finish. Thursday, October 10, 2013
