Finn	2.1 Kiteen Pajari Porter Flaske 500ml anskaffet av Rune og delt med ham og djoeye på pauserommet 27 Aug 14. Svart. Mokkafarget tett skum. God sjokolade-/lakrisaroma. Veldig vassen på smak. Rune	2.1 Kiteen Pajari Porter 500ml bottle bought at a S-Market in Joensuu, Finland. Shared with djoeye and Finn. Pours a tan-coloured head with minimal lacing. Opaque dark brown coloured body. Quite inviting aroma of roasted dark malts with hints of liquorice. Surprisingly diluted taste of roasted dark malts, hints of watered chocolate. Watered and metallic impression. djoeye	1.9 Kiteen Pajari Porter Musta olut ja beige pää. Musta suklaa ja salmiakki nenä. Kaakao, metallinen suklaa, vanha maltaita kieleen. Hieman kuiva, mutta vetinen. Ontuvy kesy viimeistely. Alle keskiarvon. Se ei oikeastaan portteri, se on enemmän kuin musta olutta. [50 cl ruskea pullo ystävällisesti jakaa Runeinen, 5,5% vol BB5MAA15] Black beer and beige head. Black chocolate and salty liquorice to the nose. Cocoa, metallic chocolate, old malts to the tongue. Slightly dry but watery. Lame tame finish. Below average. Rune	2.1 Kiteen Pajari Pils 500ml bottle picked up at a S-market in Joensuu and shared with Finn and djoeye back home. Fast diminishing bubbly white head. Straw-golden coloured body, cloudy. Vague aroma of pale malts, hints of wort. Moderate taste of hay, apples and grain. Some hints of fruits to the ending. Thin to medium bodied. Drinkable but rather tasteless (Tromsø 27.08.2014). Finn	2 Kiteen Pajari IPA Flaske 500ml. Gave fra Rune. Gusjegulgrønn. Litt uklar. Brukbart skum som daler fort og etterlater filigranser. Aroma av godt moden banan med innslag av metall. Rune	2.5 Kiteen Pajari IPA 500ml bottle from a S-Market in Joensuu. Pours a near-clear yellow-gold coloured body. Rocky white head, slowly fading. Fair lacing. Modest smell of grass and yeast. Momentary taste of dried fruits and caramel. Yeast bitterness to a rather short ending. Medium to thin bodied. fantti	3.1 Kiteen Pajari Porter Kaatuu lasiin hyvin tummanruskeana, valtavalla tumman suklaan värisellä vaahdolla, joka lähtee katoamaan tasaiseen tahtiin jättäen vahvaa pitsiä. Tuoksussa iskee esiin lakritsisuus, joka on todella intensiivistä. Myös juurisuutta ja maamaisia aromeja löytyy joukosta, seka hiven kahvia, mutta lakritsi on kyllä todella vahvaa. Maussa maamaisuus iskee vahvimpana päälle, lakritsin tukemana. Myös tietynlainen kukkaisuus ja ruoho kutittelee joukossa kahvin seurana. Suutuntuma on hieman vetisen puolella, joka saa alun tuntumaan hyvin vahvalta, mutta lopun todella tyhjältä. Juotavuus on kyllä kunnossa. Ihan ok maitokauppavahvuinen porter, jossa lakritsisuus vahvimpana tuntuman jäädessä hieman tyhjäksi. Wednesday, August 13, 2014

mikkopen	2.2 Kiteen Pajari IPA 500 ml bottle. Hazy amber colour, thin white head. Aroma of... baking yeast mostly, with some malts and a whiff of berries and hops. The flavour is marginally better, yeasty, mildly malty, with a moderately grassy-hoppy finish. mjs	1.9 Kiteen Pajari IPA (Bottle, 0.5 l - BBE 12/2014, courtesy of rosenbergh, 20140315) The beer poured dirty amber and hazy. Its head was non-exitent. Aroma had wet cardboard, sweetness and mildly fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied without any carbonation. Flavours were malts, wet cardboard, fruitiness, herbalness and low bitterness. The hoppiness is very weak and soapy. The flavour is mild yeast, some bitterness, floral and piney hops and some wax. No body, no carbonation. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. Slick and watery. The aroma is roasted malt, vegetables (both fresh and rotten) and dry liquorice. The flavour is roasted malt, liquorice, ashy dryness and some cough drops. Watery. Flat. No carbonation. It’s not necessarily bad but the lack of carbonation makes it hard to drink. It’s also very watery. Take the vegetables off, add some more malty body and some carbonation and voilà - you have a drinkable Porter. Friday, March 7, 2014
