Arbitrage411	4 Ayinger Oktober Fest-Märzen Cold smokiness wafting from a vibrant orange pour. Compact bubble, legit head, off white and sticky lacing. Sweet malt nose of fruity botanical elixir. Initial taste is a delicate and poignant distillation of brewers grain and yeast. Touching the tongue, a seem less gastronomic execution. Mouthfeel tame. Hanging lacework till the semi dry finish. yngwie	3.7 Ayinger Kirtabier (Autumn Beer) Bottle. It's a hazy copper colored beer with an orange hue. A dense, two-finger beige head sits on top. Nice curtains. The aroma has caramel, bread, toffee notes, some piney and peppery hops and a touch of dried fruit. Hints of honey and overripe apple. When fridge cold, there's also a metallic touch, but that disappears when the beer warms slightly. It's full-bodied and smooth on the palate, with a pleasant bitterness. Toffee, caramel, dried fruit and honey notes in the flavor, with a piney, lightly herbal touch. Some orange zest hints towards the lasting finish. Really nice this one. 240319 Tuesday, March 19, 2024
yngwie	3.6 Ayinger Frühlingsbier Bottle. It's almost clear in the glass, golden to pale golden in color, with a creamy, two-finger off-white head. Lovely lacing. The aroma is mostly fruity, but there's also a delicious maltyness. Grains, hay, some grass, a sweetish touch and hints of piney, peppery hops. It's medium to full-bodied, softly carbonated and a bit sweet on the palate, with a light bitterness in the back. Like the aroma, the flavor is mostly fruity, but there's more room left for the malts in the flavor. It's a bit more malty-sweet than I prefer, but I sure ain't complaining. Wildflower honey aromas with toasted caramel and notes of toffee on the nose. Crisp and clean on the palate. More honey but dried, herbal notes and slight mineral water notes.
