3 Iron Oak Domesday 1066 On draft at Tap 25. It pours a very dark reddish brown color with a tan head. The aroma is anise, chocolate covered cherries and light molasses. 3.4 Iron Oak Odin's Beard Black Ale On tap @ Cato’s (Oakland). Just about black in color with a small tan head. Aroma is fairly roasty and surprisingly hoppy. Lots of pine and woody herbs. Some chocolate, molasses, and toast sweetness, too. Nice bitterness on the palate. Lots of pine and roast. Some sweet toast and molasses. Dark chocolate, big herbal hops, and a bit of orange peel.
