Full plastic cup pour at the brewery. Hazy looking beer like a wheat beer should. Plenty of green apple notes in the aroma with hefty ripe banana. Lots of sour apple in the flavor too and low hop usage. One of those makes sense for the style.

Damascus Backbone Bock
Pours a dark brown with just a thin ring of head. Aroma is minimal (partly due to this being served too cold) - notes of caramel, mild amounts of dark malt, and moderate fruity esters. Taste - lots of molasses/caramel initially, followed by a bit of bitterness from the malt, then a weird tang I associate with homebrewed malt extract, then moderately long coffee’ish finish.
