Brick (UK) Peach & Apricot Sour
330ml can. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a short-lived, fizzy white head. The aroma is big peach and presumably apricot. The flavour is moderate sour, with a somewhat light, crisp, tart juicy peach, light dry yeasty palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

Massive head upon pouring that was slow to dissipate. Cloudy appearance. Lots of fruity flavours with a bitter edge. Apart from the bitterness I really enjoyed this one. A new brewery for me.

Brick (UK) Triple Fruited Fruits of the Forest Sour
Can from Hop Burns and Black. Pours a murky plum with a fizzy pink head. Nose of blackberry, raspberry, bread, musty grapes. Taste is a nice balance of juicy sweetness, light bitter and a pleasant juicy tart sourness. Lively carbonation, medium juicy body, pleasant lingering sweet and sour berries with a subtle doughy finish. Nice and jammy.

Brick (UK) Gooseberry & Tayberry Sour
Can from the Low Cost Beer online shop. Pours hazy pale red with a decent off-white head. Aromas of red berry and sharp gooseberries. Taste is stronger on the red berries, which lends a sweetness, becoming lightly sour at the back.

Brick (UK) Mango & Vanilla Sour
Can ordered from Elusive. Aroma has smooth mango with a dry tart edge. Hazy pale orange. Head disappears in seconds. Medium sour... there's an impact but its not intrusive. Mango. Vanilla edge. This takes the edge off the sourness. Vinous. Pulpy. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. I like a Brick sour. This one is easy drinking, pleasent. Uncomplicated if not a heavy hitter.

Brick (UK) Gooseberry & Tayberry Sour
330ml can from We Brought Beer, Tooting. Hazy pink. Nose is bob on; tart summer berries and the gooseberry really shining through. Nice and biting up front. It doesn’t quite have the body of Brick sours of old, that we’re almost impossible to place the ABV of, but this is much closer to the golden era of Brick sours and I hope this trend continues.

Lightly sweet with ample oily lime, zesty citrus, sturdy salty bite, moderate citric acidity. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Pretty clean and quenching to Finnish, more tart citrus, zest, oily peel. Sound.

Brick (UK) Yuzu & Lychee Cream Sour
Keg @ Tap and Can. Misty golden yellow appearance, small white head. Fruity yuzu and lime aroma. Crisp, sharp palate with very well defined yuzu presence, complimented with some lychee shades. Creaminess takes a back seat but on the whole very well done. Excellent.

Cask at The Queen's Head, by Kings X. It pours cloudy deep golden - blonde with a decent frothy white head. The aroma is fresh, bright, orangey, tangerine, kumquat, white bread marmalade sandwiches, orange blossom and a touch of candy. The taste is firmly dry, quite bitter, green, weedy actually, dry wood, kinda herbal notes, waxy orange peel, tangerine, light marmalade, orange blossom, touch green and dry piney vibes. Light+ body and very well conditioned for cask. Lovely chuggable hop juice. LKS would love this.

Brick (UK) Blood Orange & Amarillo Dry Hopped Sour
330ml can from We Brought Beer, Tooting. Clearish mid golden. Nose is very nice, lots of orange peal and the Amarillo is nicely complementing it. The sourness is upfront, but doesn’t linger. More citrus peal flavour. I’m not sure I’d know it was blood orange, as opposed to regular.
