Le goût est malté sucré, bien amer, fruité d'abricot et fruits tropicaux, houblon résineux, limite vernis, acidité présente, même le caramel semble acidulé, verjus. Taste has sweet overripe orange, honey & bready malts, bitter fruit rinds, weird spicy, herbal accents giving a medicinal character not unusual in DIPAs but here it leans toward a chemical profile. Nez marqué sur le malt fruité (rouges et exotiques) et les houblons. En bouche, attaque légèrement douce, suivie très vite par l'amertume houblonnée, puissante, et encore après par du malt grillé et biscuité. On est dans une DIPA costaude, riche. corkyrory66	1.1 Ox'Bier La Torchon Chiffon Carpette DIPA Double ipa de 8 % abv. Mon exemplaire était à 9 mois avant sa date. Couleur ambre roux moyen, à la clarté nette. Bulles en nappage à gros flocons, stable à 2 mm. Arômes de malt, bois mouillé, pointe de soufre, citron vert. 1ère bouche souple, sur abricot, houblon très vert, et avec une pointe acide/moisi... Arrière-bouche pas très liée, résineuse, astringente. 2ème avec du fruit, mais surtout cette pointe acide/moisi très dérangeante. Arrière-bouche sur une amertume assez imprécise, vague (comme une carpette !!) 3ème en porte à faux .. entre amertume et acide. Arrière-bouche sans véritable harmonie. Longueur sans évolution notoire, vague, imprécise. Certes avec de l’amertume, mais verte, limite acide .. (plutôt torchon ). Jambes huileuses, longues. Levure souple, concise, ligne correcte. Alcool fort, mais sans impact réellement positif sur la longueur. Finale qui arrive à quelque chose d’un peu anecdotique (du genre chiffon). CONCLUSION : on a effectivement trouvé torchon, chiffon et carpette .. pas dans le bon ordre .. Mais c’est effectivement comme cette bière assez désordonnée, et plutôt torchon que serviette ...
