stantheman	3.1 Green Leaf Raspberry Sour A 7 oz serving at the brewery, in a small signature glass. A bright translucent reddish purplish color with a modest white head, pronounced raspberry nose. DeanF	1.9 Green Leaf 8th Sin Muddy orange body, okay foam but it is gone very quickly and very thin. Smells definitely of wit and grapefruit but coming across as overly acidic. The grapefruit juice isn't doing any favours for the Belgian wit and basically a pile of acidity overpowers. Would work with fatty foods where you don't want to taste the beer. Nothing sweet nor refreshing here, too bitter and nothing to remember. Tuesday, August 27, 2019
DeanF	2.7 Green Leaf Hazy Shore IPA Nice cloudy light orange and good foam, big skunk cabbage on the nose. Flavour is meaty hops, kind of vegetably, with not much to call it redeeming. Good carbonation though. A very non-sweet IPA where it seems there should be many. Friday, July 19, 2019

DeanF	2.6 Green Leaf Cherry Sour Mellow gold body and essentially no head. Aroma is dried fruit skin. Flavour is sweet fruit with only a hint of sourness. Yeast prominent throughout not very interesting in their ouevre of sours. On tap at the brewery. Saturday, October 20, 2018
DeanF	2.8 Green Leaf Peach Sour Green leaf's got a lot of sours, at least I gotta say that. This has a darker pink body and almost no foam. The aroma is vague fruitiness however nothing is prominent. The flavour is mellow peach, a bit of yeast sharpness and sourness in between. Slightly wet finish. Not bad but not as bright as it coule be. Saturday, October 20, 2018
DeanF	2.5 Green Leaf Kombucha Beer Lemon ginger flavour at the brewpub if it matters, they may have some other flavours but given the intransigence of this brewery (yes I said it) maybe that doesn't matter. This has a clear gold body with no foam and smells like ginger iced tea. The flavour is more sweet iced tea with sugary notes. A very sweet iced tea experience. At least there's alcohol here to help you forget that you're drinking iced tea. Saturday, October 20, 2018
DeanF	3 Green Leaf Blackberry Sour Modest ruby copper body and no foam. Aroma is nice big yeast and funky cherry. Flavour is big yeast with some sour cherry on the back end. Oakes	2.3 Green Leaf Les Saisonniers On tap at the brewery. Hazy dull amber with a medium head. Light aroma of saison yeast. Very yeasty on the palate, and thin. Malts are almost missing, but so are the hops. Definitely subpar. Sunday, July 29, 2018

Oakes	2.5 Green Leaf Azacca Cadabra ISA Dullish amber, just a slight haze. Thick head. Not a whole lot of azacca on the nose, just a vague breadiness. Moderate bitterness, husky, some general esters...not an impactful hop signature. Hmmm. To me, this needs not just a brighter hop character but a brighter malt character. Wednesday, December 27, 2017

mcberko	2.2 Green Leaf Dry-Hopped Kettle Sour On tap at Green Leaf, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out subdued floral hopping and a hint of buried lacto. Flavour is quite acetic, with a weird jumble of notes, including some copper-like metallic notes, some vinegar, light floral hopping and some strange dental clinic notes. What a mess. Flavour is very much along the same lines, with very tart and acidic peach skins, with lacto sourness further back. Not a refined or clean sour by any means. Aroma brings out lots of roasted malt and piney dry hopping upfront, smelling like a hoppy American stout. Flavour is rich and robust, with loads of roasted malt and dry piney hopping dominating in unison. Some light dark fruitiness in there as well. Loads of depth and rich without being abrasive. beerplace	3.4 Green Leaf Dark Saison - Red Wine Barrel On tap at the brewery. Pours an opaque almost black color with a small brown head. Aroma is barrel, vinous, fermented berries acidity, roasted malt, some chocolate and acetone notes. Taste is fermented berries with ACETONE notes. Damn acetone bomb! :-/ Roasted malt notes aftertaste, which you can quite easy recognize after acetone is gone. Would be a perfect beer with no (or at least on appropriate level) acetone, but... beerplace	3.8 Green Leaf Modern Gentleman - Merlot On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy straw golden with a strong beige head. Aroma is very complex: vinous, sweet grape, flowery notes - fantastic! Taste is very woody, wild yeasts, hoppy bitterness. Woody, hoppy bitterness aftertaste. Very interesting and good stuff, despite too much wood in the taste (that’s why the overall and taste marks have been decreased). Tuesday, October 4, 2016
