Ron	3.3 Uncle Bear's Cherry Who's Barking Now Hazy IPA On tap at the Brewpub with Patty for dinner. It was a slightly hazy pour with little foam head. Aroma of citrus hops mostly. Kleg	3.1 Uncle Bear's Barkley's Peanut Butter Cup Porter 12 oz. can from Total Wine, Scottsdale, AZ. Pours a clear, very dark cola color with a fizzy beige head and decent retention. Zero lacing. Dried peanut butter powder aroma. Artificial peanut butter flavor with no chocolate notes at all. Has a thin body and a crisp mouthfeel. Not very porter-like. Semi-sweet and notbitter. It's easy to drink, and the peanut butter flavor is okay, but it's a little weak overall. I like peanut butter beers, but this one is below average. Wednesday, September 1, 2021

Aroma of nice piney and pithy citrus hop notes over a touch of caramel malt, hint of diacetyl, and light biscuit. Taste has some oxidation from the hops falling off, but not terrible, still what you expect from a west coast IPA, just a touch old and a little underfermented. Meh. Saturday, November 21, 2020

Aroma of sweet caramel and earthy nutty malt notes over a clean fruity yeast. Taste follows, a solid brown ale but nothing to write home about. It's discontinued on Untappd, but I found it 7 months after the last check in, so if it's old its impressive its holding up so well. Monday, November 2, 2020

ClarkVV	3.5 Uncle Bear's Ocean Beach West Coast IPA Canned 2/9/18? not quite sure, difficult to make out. Drunk 3/9/18. Light haze with a light amber-golden color. White head fades slowly to cover. Fruity hops and yeast mix with soft, caramel-tinged, honey-like malts with growing peach and apple esters on the end. Lots of leafy, cascade-like notes with light pine and no resin, thankfully. In the mouth it has a reasonably soft, malty texture. Definitely on the sweeter side, probably too much so, but the grapefruit-like bitterness is noticeable and helps mitigate, to some extent. Good carbonation, fairly engaging. No alcohol, resin. Lots of caramel honey character lingering and remains quite soft from all the malt. Monday, June 18, 2018

Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (orange, grapefruit), with a light note of gasoline. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter, slightly unclean. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation.
