weizen-slayer	3.1 VonFreude Elb Blond - Die See Ruft Helle Farbe, ganz minimale Trübung. Etwas Frucht, etwas helles Malz, florale Noten, Hopfung dezent. Alles nicht zu intensiv. Aber immerhin recht süffig. Saturday, August 19, 2023
tontalus	2 VonFreude Das IPA Der Geruch ist mild nach Grapefruit und Frucht zusammen mit Malz. Das gelbe leicht trübe Bier besitzt eine fingerdicke, feinporige Schaumkrone, die sich schnell reduziert. Im Antrunk unspektakulär malzig , beim Abgang kommt ein dezenter Aromahopfen mit Zitrusgeschmack , geringe Frucht Andeutung und sogar noch etwas Malz durch. Da hier nur 4,8% Alkohol auf der Uhr stehen, muss weder damals noch der Hopfen den Alkohol Geschmack überdecken. Die Rezenz ist nicht sehr ausgeprägt, was bei geringer Hopfenbittere zu wenig Süffigkeit führt. Für mich kein IPA. 10-2018 Monday, December 26, 2022

hauxe	3.6 VonFreude Frischhopfenbier Bottle from HolAb in Elsfleth. Amber with a thin, frothy white head. Aroma full of honey, grass, rubber and apple cider. Taste is mildly sweet most of the way through with the malts having the upper hand. Far from an IPA—it veers off in the direction of a Helles or a Helles Bock. Clingy and slightly cloying with hints of bubblegum, but restrained enough to not where out its welcome. Mildly bitter at the end. Good. Sunday, September 8, 2019

Monty27	3 VonFreude Das IPA Though the label promises citrus and fruit, my impression was that grassy hops were dominating, with just a hint of those aromatic hops. This brought the beer closer to a pilsner than an IPA. Same story with the taste. It is more bitter than pilsner, but weaker than your typical IPA. The creamy foam was interestingly different. Still, a disappointment. However, reading some of the other reports, it may have been both too old and too cold, which could have killed most of the aromatic hops. Taboada	3 VonFreude Das IPA 330mml. bottle as part of the "European Local Swap 1/2019", many thanks dunklermessias. Tasted on the 14/02/2019 at home. Clear yellow colour with a medium off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, caramel, light grassy hops and some honey. Taste is malty and light hoppy leading to a slightly sweet finish. Not a great IPA. Next one please! Friday, March 1, 2019

Aroma is sticky piney, herbal, caramel malts, dried fruits, the herbal character is quite interesting and makes it feel almost like there are spices in there.
