New Lion Pandit IPA
Bottle from Ashby’s of Salcombe, Malborough. Golden and slightly haze, and quite active out of the bottle so produced a thick frothy head on my pour. This didn’t seem to affect its taste and it’s a smooth and hoppy brew with hints of tropical fruit, which are best in its nose. Has a good mouthfeel with a bit of a fizz involved.

New Lion Totnes Stout
On tap at the bread and roses. With Kieran. Lovely stout, thick but sessionable. Tastes and smells like a breakfast stout with lovely coffee aromas. Smooth mouthfeel, lots of flavour despite the relatively love abv. Loved it.

New Lion Quadrupel: 2015 Reserve
Bottle split at Cotts Convention V, thanks to the Bearded Avenger, 08/06/19. Bottle #788. Chestnut brown with a beige cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is nutty, toffee, dried fruits, light spice. Taste comprises fruit cake, dark malts, brown bread, tangy fruits, light spice. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light boost offered. Not bad … doesn't get to sweet and drinks fine for the ABV.

New Lion Pandit IPA
Keg at the Barking Cat Ale House, Upper Parkstone, Poole. Dark golden, clear with a film of white head and some lacing. Low on aroma, a bit of citrus with a metallic edge. Improved taste with medicinal hoppy bittetness shot through, and a back-of-the-throat bitterness in the finish. Medium to heavy carbonation. Ok.

New Lion / Wild Weather Double Chestnut Milk Stout
Bottle bought at the brewery. Low key but still rich coffee and dark chocolate aroma. Dark and glossy, if thin looking. Beige head soon shrinks to a thin band. Light-medium bitter core, which then develops a spiced sourness. There's an underlying sweetness which results in a full blown caramel finish. Medium bodied. Creamy. Average carbonation. Dry astringent finish. I wonder if the Chestnut smooths out the coffee and berries, which along with the spice makes me think of chai. Lovely jubbly.

New Lion White Label Dry Hopped Stout
Bottle from the brewery. Low key black coffee aroma with some roast. Dark and glossy. Thinning creamy beige head. Medium bitter - coffee, liqourice and charcoal - core. The dry hops provide a peppery lift. Sour berries throughout and some underlying sweetness. Medium bodied. Creamy. Fizzy carbonation, which carries through into the long dry astringent finish. Lovely stuff. Stout with BIPA traits.

New Lion Littlestone
On cask at Pursuit of Hoppiness in Exeter. Pours a lightly water, brown nearing black with some soapy, off white head. Nose has sweetened coffee, marzipan too, some toffee, malt, a little cane sugar. Flavor amps the coffee up some, sweet tea now too, cane sugar or tamarind, toffee. Finishes a touch watery, but still some coffee tannins and dry. Very nice, super drinkable.

Bottle from the brewery. Resin and citrus aroma with some spice. Dark hazy amber. Bubbly translucent white head. Tangy sweet and sour hit. Smooths down with sweet citrus. Quite malty. Medium bodied.
