Logboat Mamoot Mild 3.2
Not a bad beer at all. A very thin beer with moderate complexity. Smooth, hints of sweet and chocolate, with a low ABV, so you can drink a lot of it.

Logboat Snapper IPA 3.7
Well balanced IPA. A solid choice for a Columbia, MO brew. Well balanced, verging on too bitter but really drinkable.

Logboat Mamoot Mild 3.4
On tap at GTMW 2015
Good milds are far and few between in the United States it seems so when I noticed this on the list of pours I made a note to give it a shot. Overall it comes close to the spirit of the way things are currently done in the UK but adds a little New World. As a result it feels like a nice experiment to try once.

Aroma / Appearance - Bronze liquid fills the glass to the pour line with a fluid body. Caramel chews and fruit lift upwards with ease along with malt balls.

Flavor / Palate - Strawberries, caramel, and malt bloom into a light transition that tickles the floor of the mouth before a gentle finish. It doesnít have the same robustness as the best milds. Instead it goes for the "mild means simple" end of the spectrum. Iíd love to give it another shot on cask as I think it might give it the oomph it lacks otherwise.

Meh. Kind of average or weak. Mildly yeasty. Sort of a hop kind of essence to this ale as well. Nice cereal and bread notes all around.

The aroma was of malts, bread, roast and nuts. The taste was similar to the aroma with more malts, caramel, some slight bitterness and roastiness. Interesting twist.

Logboat Yeah, Bye Earth 3.7
~3 oz sample at the Boulevardia Taps & Tastes in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is hazed golden copper with a smallish off white head. The aroma is a nice blend of softly sweet malt, softly bitter pine and citrus hops, and the fresh and present Belgian yeast notes. The taste is the nose, a excellent balance of malt, hop and the yeast. Belgian IPAs often steer to hard in one direction or another for my personal preference, this one did a great job showcasing all flavors and keeping them integrated. Nice beer, certainly stood out at the festival.

Logboat Shiphead American Wheat 3.6
Clear copper/orange pour, with a small white head. Aroma has citrusy hops and a bit of wheat in the back ground. Flavor is a crisp and clean, some floral and citrus notes. A little bready on the tail end that leads to a nice tingly bitter finish. Very drinkable, and enough hops to satisfy my cravings.

Logboat Snapper IPA 3.4
ours hazy orange with a creamy white head and thick lacing. Aroma is very pleasant with hard candy and floral, citrus and pine hops. Flavor is nicely bitter with a good bready malt base and more pine and floral hops that were found in the aroma addition. Medium-bodied, moderately carbonated and very easy to drink. Somehow, a bit sweet in the finish, but still, I appreciate the malt presence in this style.

Logboat Barrel Aged Loghands 3.8
Sampled at Lupulin 2015. Pours a clear white wine hue with a soapy white head. Aroma is sweet, fruity, candy. Not sure what type of barrels these are aged in but this is a sweet candy-like beer with some Belgian notes. I liked this before but itís better barrel aged. So good.

Logboat Mocha Stout 3.7
This beer pours an opaque black color with a small light tan head, and the aroma is the perfect fusion of cocoa powder and roasted coffee beans, making it reminiscent of a dry mocha. The taste is mildly bitter, slightly umami, and slightly sweet with an aftertaste that is similar to the aroma: cocoa powder flavor and dryness mixed with slightly roasted coffee beans. The palate fuses an oily texture, soft carbonation, and a medium-light body.

Sampled at the STL Hops 7th Anniversary Party - Pours clear caramel colored with an off-white head. The aroma has bread, dry caramel, brown sugar, graham crackers and English mild yeast. It has a medium crisp body with soft carbonation. The flavor starts like the aroma, but more toast and some spritziness. Very clean and nice. Really liked this one a lot.

Pretty good considering I canít tolerate the gingery-ness of straight ginger beers. So the wheat ale plus ginger beer fusion is a good mix for me. Good carb, light on the tongue and fizzy in the mouth. Not bitter but not too sweet.

Logboat Mamoot Mild 3.1
Subtle sweetness in this mild ale. Good equilibrium so this brew isnít sweet, nor bitter, not hoppy either...Just right in the middle. Nothing bad, but nothing amazing. Good session beer to drink a lot of while watching the game. Mine was from Logboat and according to the chalkboard was 3.8% ABV and 12 IBU.

Pours straw yellow with a thick off white head. Aroma is hoppy with a Belgian flare. Light bodied with light carbonation in the mouth. Fruity and hoppy all at once. One if the better saisons Iíve had. Backend disappears in a hurry. Good beer.

Logboat + 4 Hands LogHands 3.7
Pint at 4 Hands. Clear golden with some white foam. A grassy fruity aroma is definitely a saison. Flavor is very fruity and there could be pear juice in this. Belgian sugar is very light and the yeast notes are just a little bigger. Hops are fruity and bring soft but very nice notes. Citrus as it warms. I should habe drank it slower because it improved with warming.

This beer pours a hazy yellow color with a large white head that fades slowly, and the aroma coming out of the glass blends grassy, citrus, and piney hops with hints of Belgian yeast and white pepper. The taste is mildly bitter, mildly sweet, and a touch sour; after the initial taste, the hop flavors subside to a slight grassy flavor, and they make room for the light malt flavors to come through. The palate complements the beer well due to the average carbonation, but that level of carbonation does obstruct the light body and thin texture slightly.
