One World Legacy Lager
On tap at their downtown, underground tap room. Love the extra corn-y, craft beer trend. Classic, clear, pale gold, extra frothy. Tulip pour? Sharp, winey, veggy nose. Acid, strong corn, earthy bitterness, strangely savory, great carb. Solid & better than okay.

One World Hoppyness Starts With You
Taps clear topaz with a good eggshell head that leaves heavy lacing. Aroma gives resiny hops, fresh malt, a citrus hint. Flavor presents piney and mainly resiny hops, fresh malt, not-so-subtle citrus that is mainly orange. Texture provides decent body and lively fizz. Hoppyness starts with good craft beer - which is why I visit Asheville once a year.

One World Pineapple Upside Down Express IPA
2021 Extreme Beer Fest selection : Aroma of big Maraschino cherries and a dusty wine. Pours a red amber with very little head. Initial taste of tart cherries then a hint of sweetness at the end- grilled pineapples? 12.5% ABV. OWC could stand for “original wooden crate “ or whatever you want it to be. This gets better as it warms up.

One World ESB (Extra Sexy Bitter)
One World channels old world British brewing with their traditional ESB entry. Pours a very pretty clear medium brown with a thin beige head. Toffee, red delicious apple, and mild berry notes play a part in the ar9ma. Bittterness is low, and the fruitiness of the hops is amped. The balance if this beer is exceptional, as it allows the interesting aspects of the English yeast and hops to exert their character while melding well with the toffee leaning malt base. Some mild toast notes appear as the beer warms, but it stays well away from Vienna territory. Very good and infinitely sessionable.

One World Hoppyness Starts With You
Currently enjoying a pint of this at the subterranean brewery/taproom! Was looking for a crisp and refreshingly bitter IPA - although this isn’t full-on West Coast resin and pine, this still has a brisk citrus and herbal hoppiness to it to give some intense citrus juice flavor and wash the palate with a clean finish. Poured a slightly hazy straw color, generic but fresh aroma of tart grapefruit and faint pale malt. Flavor is dry citrus juicy hops, not really any maltiness to speak of, but it’s not needed for this hop-centric brew. Reminiscent of SweetWater's TripleTail Tropical IPA, just this one features more citrus than tropical fruit. Surprisingly light-bodied and mild-mannered for being over 7% ABV, dangerously light and sessionable. Overall a very enjoyable light and airy yet full strength IPA.
