Dogfish Head 90 Minute Imperial IPA
pours amber color, clear, almost brilliant, with very stable creamy yellowish off-white head. Aroma: malt aroma, which takes on candied fruitcake, supported with hop aroma, which takes on pine, citruses and some other fruits. Flavor is practically the same, with the same notes menitoned above, but with somehow disturbing honey like sweetness before finish. Finish is slightly bitter, dry. Bitterness lingers in aftertaste. Malt sweetness and moderate high hop bitterness are pretty well balanced. Body is medium, texture soft, carbonation is moderate medium.

Kind've a weak pour but nice herbal, spicy aromas. Initial spiciness art first taste whichb then flattens out a bit too much. Good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dogfish Head Romantic Chemistry draft pint at Four Points near LAX A pretty clear copper pour with a hoppy fruit aroma but I get zero ginger from it which was listed as an ingredient. Itís got a nice flavor of chewy light malts, bright hoppiness and is crisp and tasty.

Bottle. The pour is an amber color. The aroma is mostly malt. The taste has a complexness to it, kind of a mess. Don't get any of the flavor profile I was expecting. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The cascade and simcoe really stand out in this hazy orange brew with almost no head. The taste is sweet full bodied up front. The aftertaste the hop flavors and bitterness come in the hops are floral and balance well between Thenbitter and the malt sweetness.

Light copper, light head. Aroma is mineral, very subtle fruit, light candy ( caramel malt?) slight floral. Taste has a mix of aroma, subtle , mildly complex. Mild fruit, seems green as in underipe fruit. Good for a fruit beer and I would say its better than aprihop that I can remember. I guess there is a peppery spice like ginger. Drinks like a pale ale. I like the abv. I was expecting more from aroma. Dindnt get much hop flavor for an ipa either.

Bottle, 355ml. A semi-cloudy golden beer with minimal white head and a lot of gas. Aroma is of citrics, especially lemon and orange. Taste is sour with some carbonation and astringency. Medium bodied and with a faint aftertaste of citrics. Very nice but somewhat one-dimensional.

Dogfish Head Festina Peche
Bottle, 33cl. Sparklimg pale golden with a fizzy to minimal offwhite head. Sourish wheaty aromas, hints of citrus. Medium bodied with moderate to fizzy carbonation. Highly sour with moderate to low sweetness and no bitterness. Stinging acidity into a a similar finish. I like this as an example of what beer can be, not hoppy, malty nor bitter but still very pleasant.

Dogfish Head Squall IPA
The beer pored golden amber in color, and the body was quite clear, despite the beer being unfiltered and bottle conditioned. The head was about one finger thick. The aroma was a little subdued to my liking, as the hops were evident, in the form of grapefruit, melon, and hay, but this was not a hop assault on the nose. The taste was very tropical, full of juicy fruits, mild bitterness, and hard candy like sweetness. There was a little bit of butterscotch vibe to the malts. The body was dense, but the alcohol content felt much lower than it was. The aftertaste was mild, and lasted briefly. This was a decent tropical style DIPA, but for me a super dry West Coast style hopping goes much better with the style.

Drank from a sample glass, shared amongst friends. Nice flavors and aromas of spruce, well done and not overly piney, Dogfish Head found a great way to tie in the complexities of the spruce along with all the hops, well done!

Drank from a sampler glass, shared amongst friends. Drank extremely hot, as in unaged. Total hop bomb, gave this brew a mediocre rating due to the complexities that still existed amongst being heavily hopped.

Pours reddish orange, darker than typical tripel. Nose is orange zest, coriander, clove, booze--a bit overpowering. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, OJ, banana, tons of spices with clove dominant. Booze well hidden and a clean finish. A bit too busy for my taste, but decent.

Dogfish Head 90 Minute Imperial IPA
Nice tan head that lingers providing lacing but not excess carbonation. Color is a rich amber. Pleasant aroma. High ABV yet easy drinking...palate pleasing. At first I got bitter though not lingering and since I am a IPA newbie...it just might be that I donít identify the hops flavor accurately just yet.

Dogfish Head Beer To Drink Music To
appearance: deep clear gold, short, fizzy white head quickly fading to minimal popping bubbles. aroma: caramel, pie crust, orange zest, pepper, clove. taste: toasted brown bread, toffee, light brown sugar, orange zest, light resin, clove, pepper, hint of wood. finish: lingering sweetness, with good belgian yeasty spice notes; palate is full, but the spicy finish is just right to balance. notes: Another extremely solid beer from DFH. Big flavors, but everything complimentary.

Shared with my pals James and Trevor at Manantler Brewing. Not a ton of aroma but this beer goes down hot with plenty of boozy warmth. A bit of sweet bitterness at the end but not a ton of it. Doesnít really taste like any IPA Iíve ever had but it was damn good.

Pours thick with dark brown with no real head or lacing.. Huge maltiness is cloying and soooo very sweet, magnified by the cocoa essence and cherry residuals.. yeasty elements are also "sweet" and reminiscent of clove that do nothing except add to the teeth vibrating sweetness... I LOVE the DFH concept beers based solely on concept, but this is pretty terrible in liquid form.

Bottle, 355ml. A dark amber beer with a medium size white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of alcohol, bourbon, wood and spices. Taste is bitter with a strong alcoholic aftertaste. Medium bodied, dry and astrigent. Strong aftertaste that reminds me of wood and bourbon, with a nice malt character. Maybe not as hoppy as some of the Imperial IPAs I have tried, but definitely very nice.

Smells of fresh strawberries with a touch of malts. Nice Orange color with hues of red. Flavors of syrup and a bit winey, the flavor falls flat and gives you syrup tougue. Not sure the body light but syrupy weird carbonation. This is not my cup of tea. Like dogfish head just this does not apply to me gluten free.

Dogfish Head Kvasir
Large botle served in a Belgian snifter. Bottle Date: 8/6/15 Appearance: slightly hazy copper-amber; not much lacing gets left on the glass, though. Aroma: fruity, moderately strong and pleasant. Suggests both tart and sweet elements. Hints of honey and berries. Taste: Strong. Tart and sweet in about equal measure, with a bit less bitterness. Cranberry is pretty obvious; lingonberries less so; birch syrup not at all. Suggestions of plums and faint cherries. Feel: Near medium carbonation. Medium-full body; near puckering tartness. Overall: very interesting but not challenging. Iím glad I got to try this. Caution: very well hidden alcohol.
