Kleg	2.4 New Smyrna Beach Another Hazy IPA Draft sampler at the 2023 Rocky Water Brew Fest. Cloudy yellow color with a bright white head and good retention. Strong hoppy aroma. The flavor is a little less hoppy than the nose and some juicy notes, but there's no mistaking this as an IPA. Okay for the style. Saturday, October 28, 2023

jbruner	2.6 New Smyrna Beach Chocolate Cake Imperial Stout Pours a deep brownish black on tap with a wispy tan foam cap that leaves light lacing on the way down. Aroma is chocolate, but almost like the sour milk chocolate of a Hershey's bar, is it infected? Taste is moderately acidic up front, that then falls to light roasty bitterness and light chocolate sweetness. Not a fan. Friday, January 20, 2023

Aroma is big on dried peanut butter, likely PB2, a small hint of chocolate behind, some roasted malt to boot. Taste is fairly sweet from the peanut butter and chocolate, lightly salty from the peanut butter, a hint of umami, a light bitterness from the roasted malt. Decent enough for what it is. Aroma of nice melanoidin malts and light earthy hops, a clean lager yeast on the back end. Taste is moderately sweet from the malt, lightly bitter from the hops, good balance and clean finish. Aroma of huge raspberry notes with a nice musty funk and lactic acidity underneath, fruit galore. Taste is moderately acidic from the culture and fruit, lightly sweet from the fruit, smooth on the palate. This was definitely the best beer of the day there. Friday, January 20, 2023

Aroma is big on the caramel and toasted malts, a hint of earthy hops and lightly fruity yeast underneath. Aroma of dank resinous hops, very piney for a hazy, with a hint of booze behind. Taste is moderately bitter from the hops, fairly sweet from the malt and booze, fruity yeast esters.
