16oz pour in The Signature Sports Bar, Laguna Niguel on 12th May 2016. Cloudy orange/amber body, white head. Hoppy and fruity with a mini-citrus feel and bittering finish. Liked it.

Left Coast Trestles IPA
Can from The Bottle Shop Canterbury and drunk at home. Clear amber colour lasting cream head. Some sweetish toffee crystal malt aroma. Yes some hop, some bitterness, but it has that horrible crystal malt aroma and flavour. The hops are just bitter rather than fruity. Black pepper bitterness. Fresh enough, but not that good.

Left Coast Trestles IPA
22oz bottle shared with my wife on 9th May 2016 while on holiday in California, poured into Corsendonk badged stemmed tulip glasses. Lovely clear golden body with a full snow white foam blanket on top which gave some impressive lacing on the glasses. Full on hop aroma and taste, citrus bite to the flavour and nose from I assume the dry hopping. Liked it.

Left Coast Voo Doo American Stout
On tap at the Monte Carlo Pub (Las Vegas, NV). Pours a black body with maroon glints and a thin beige creamy head. Complex malty/hoppy aroma with chocolate, roasted coffee, and plummy hints. Alcohol is well hidden. Its smooth malty taste carries woody, plummy, and chocolate notes. Ends with a long, robust bittersweet finish. Very nice.

Well first of all itís cloudy. Thin head. Has this yeasty tartness in the nose, fruitiness. sweet, sticky, heavy malts...thereís some high test Dutch dorts like this but this is just not happening. Even getting past the fact this has zero dortmunder characteristics, itís just not a pleasant beer.

Left Coast Trestles IPA
Clear extremely gold colored beer with foam ring. Earthy hopping in the nose. The taste has a huge tart flash at the beginning. Behind that, there is a earthy bitterness with a lot of hops and a creamy finish with an alcoholic touch and no dryness. The aftertaste is a little oily and bitter.

Bottle sample at a tasting at troublesís place. Thanks Stas. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of roast, coffee, a bit of dark fruits. Bittersweet flavor with roast, coffee, salty note, a bit of dark fruits notes, and a bitter finish. Medium to full-bodied, rounded. Good.

3.7
Left Coast Asylum Belgian-Style Tripel Ale
Decent representation of the style, though not quite the flavor and feel of a true Belgian. Pours a semi-clear light orange appearance. Complex flavor of sweet fruits, light malts and grain, and yeast. Need to sip this as the alcohol bite isnít hidden that well (hard to do at 11.8%). Ok to try, but there are better tripels out there.

De kleur is mooi donkerblond. Weinig schuim als je uitschenkt. Een lekker volle geur. De smaak is goes, maar ik zou toch maar de "Belgian style tripel ale" met een korrel zout nemen.

Way too over the top hoppy for me, and not in a good way. Bitter smelling abrasive aroma. Flavor is slightly better but just too bitter, with less aromatics and a ton of spice and bitterness. Not very pleasant.

Bottle. Musty orange with a poofy top. This has a wild side in both the aroma and palate ... the wet, mushy character dominates, with little left in your palate to appreciate what little citrus fruit you can discern. (#6159, 3/29/2016)

Left Coast Voo Doo American Stout
Undated 12 oz bottle with an indicated ABV of 8.0%; served in a Belgian snifter after some warming. Appearance: pours near black with a thin head that reduces to a ring almost immediately. Ruby highlights in strong light. Minimal spotty lacing. Aroma: sweet with suggestions of dark dried fruits, light booze and dark bread. Flavor: largely follows and is mild for style but no shortage of dark roasted grains. Light, and not objectionable burnt grains notes. Feel: smooth, medium+ body; overly light carbonation.
