oh6gdx	4 Porterhouse Around the Clock Batch No. 3 Bottle (from Alko web). Pitch black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is cognac, some bourbon, alcohol, chocolate and mild rhum notes. Interesting as only whiskey and bourbon has been used barrelwise. Flavour is sweet malts, some rhum raisins, mild chocolate, bourbon and wooden tones to it. Smooth. Rider0nTheStorm	3.3 Porterhouse Nitro Red Ale Version pas nitro a priori. Achetée à Chartres avec d'autres IRA pour comparer avec la mienne. Cette Porterhouse en est assez proche. Elle est assez sombre, malt touraillé et caramel, houblon ekg. Par contre elle me semble un peu sèche, avec un genre d'astringeance en fin de bouche. Extremely dark mahogany brown verging in light black topped with a khaki head that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, dark malts, light barrel, nutty, earthy, dried fruit rinds. Taste comprises chocolate, booze, whisky kiss, oak, dark fruit rinds, pinch of spice, roasted tones, hint of coffee, tobacco. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light kiss of alcohol. Sips easy for the ABV but also lacks some depth and barrel notes. It's fine but not one to revisit.
