christiancastor	Oskar Blues Imperial Hazy Blues Stort skum av hållbara "rompärlor" över något grådaskigt gult, som av färsk äppelmust. Doft med fullmogna höstfruktdofter, lite ananas i bakgrunden. Smaken motsvarar och har mycket av allt. Plommon, äpplen, aprikos marmelad. Mycket driv från alkohol och sötma, nästan för mycket. Taste starts sweet juicy tropical and stone fruity, citrusy and herbal, follows by bubblegum, melon and slightly medicinal, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is average bitter. Ik ruik de geuren van chocola, koffie en soja. De caramel ruik ik niet. In de smaak proef ik met name de chocola, de koffie is in mindere mate aanwezig. Het mondgevoel is geweldig. Not as big as expected on the nose, but fairly round and juicy, dank, piney, slightly boozy, hint of manure. Medium-full bodied palate, semi-sweet, slightly hollow mid, mango entry to finish. cheap	1.4 Oskar Blues Double Dale’s Can, orangish brown hazy. Nose of pine cones. First swig is a big cloying sweet mess of fermenting rotten bitter unripe green grapefruit rinds. Then that's followed by a volatile blast of blasphemous sticky pine tar. Rude as all hell. Nasty nellie, I need a cheap american macro pale lager for a chaser. The bastard is truly an arrogant terrible rude ass bastard. Let me suck on some mouth coating handsoap er sumthin. Terribly on style. Man, this really is a punch in the palate, the finish hangs on forever and I can't feel a thing for about a half hour. Whew. Hands down, this is one of the most terribly on style double IPA I've had in a fricken while. Big fat Mr Yuk on my taste buds, oh shit. Thank goodness I get a buzzy brain numbing reward for enduring this punishment. Monday, March 18, 2024

Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized beige head. Stable. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with alcohol and an earthy touch. Dark roasted malts, brown sugar and toffee. Dark alcohol. Coffee and vanilla. Light carbonation. Thick, oily, viscous, creamy, smooth, soft and gently tingling texture. Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and slightly boozy. Lingering. Finish is surprisingly dry. Pretty intense and surprisingly hop-forward Imperial Stout. Sunday, March 10, 2024

davidezdonz	4.3 Oskar Blues BA21 Vol. 5 A 12 fl. oz. can, 2021 barrel aged series, canned on 21st January 2021. Poured into a snifter glass. It was black in colour, with a near one finger tan brown head that had pretty good retention and left some nice lacing. Aromas roasty, fresh crushed coffee beans, chocolate, vanilla, toffee, bourbon, with dried dark fruit notes, and a touch of nuts. Tastes bittersweet, roasty, espresso, dark chocolate, caramel, bourbon, and vanilla. Creamy, full bodied, with soft carbonation. Overall, a really enjoyable sipper with good balanced aroma and flavours. As good as BBA Ten Fidy. Thursday, March 7, 2024
MicroGrog	4.1 Oskar Blues Ten FIDY - Mocha 01/21/20 Tall boy from the Mills River brewery. Code stamped on the bottom: Smoker, Joker, Midnight, Mocha. Duvel tulip. Black body, brown highlights. Big, overreaching, lingering brown head. Smell is chocolate syrup, old/subtle beans, significant bourbon. Creamy, mostly flat body is mostly mellow bourbon & a lightly sweet stout. Some Ash, lingering bitterness, faint coffee. The lack of confident coffee is a big disappointment, but the feel, alcohol levels, un-crazy barrel, it ends up just being a pretty good, albeit expensive stout. Tuesday, March 5, 2024
