Mission Springs Harvest Hefe
Bomber. Unclear pale straw yellow, big fluffy white foam settles and lasts. Aroma of clove, hefe spices, banana and yeast. Taste is spritzy lemony citrus, clove and mild spices, lean wheat malt, some yeastiness and faint bitterness, a bit oily. Lively carbonation, lighter bodied, lightly hopped. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)

Mission Springs Top Knot IPA
On tap at VCBW Festival 2016, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops and a touch of biscuity notes. Flavour is dry and astringency, with biscuity malt and light dry hopping. Not much impressive here - a dry, astringent IPA that is easy drinking enough but uninteresting. Meh.

Mission Springs Peach Radler
On tap at VCBW Festival 2016, pours a cloudy pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma smells like a peach Snapple, nothing much else. Flavour is along the same lines, tasting just like a peach Snapple. Medium-light sweetness. Refreshing but how good can a radler be.

Mission Springs Spirit Bear Spiced Chocolate Imperial Stout
Bomber. Hueless black brown, mostly fading mocha foam. Aroma of dark roast and allspice. Burnt and bitter dark roast taste, too much allspice, not enough chocolate, uncohesive. Average carbonation, medium-full bodied, moderately hopped. DNFL (Definitely Not For Lagerboys)

Bottle - Sweet caramel and toast. Clear copper with a nice beige head. Bit bitter, toasty and sweet caramel. True to style but a bit too much toast for my taste.

Stave Lake Lost Barrel Series - Barrel Aged Apricot Ale
659 ml bottle. Pours a deep copper color with full head of big bubbles that dissipates quickly. Aromas of dried apricots, oak, and sweet malts. Flavors of apricot skins, green oak and canoed fruit. Almost chewy but with a good dose of carbonation - a really nice barrelled apricot beverage (beer?) I would buy again.

Stave Lake Lost Barrel Series - Barrel Aged Apricot Ale
Hazy, amber, thin head. The aroma has apricot, a bit yoghurty with a fairly pronounced bourbon note. The taste is a bit yoghurty and with mellow apricot, lots of bourbon sweetness, phenols and alcohol.

Drinking from a 50cl bottle. A nice fruity aroma. The clear orange beer has a medium white head. In the taste hops. Gets more bitter as beer warms up. Medium carbonated.

Mission Springs Cherry Bomb Belgian Style Pale Ale
Visual: Pours reddish brown with a massive super foamy head with a large 1cm retention and sticky lacing, mixed singular tight streams and clusters hugging the side of the glass. Nose: berried banana wheaty malts with background acidity (lvl-7)-pungency Attack: crisp, cream-lively tingly Mid-palate: background light tart cherry tangy, dull bitterness, banana wheat malty, pukey, (lvl-3-sweetness) Finish: medium acidic sour, dry bitter soft astringent hops. Summary: It looks deceptively good and noses alright, but the flavours just donít together right. Overall it thereís some astringency from the the cherry or the hops or perhaps both. At least the creamy mouthfeel and acidity are decent.

Stave Lake Lost Barrel Series - Barrel Aged Apricot Ale
Bottle - Apricot and oak. Clearish gold with a decent white head. Lots of apricot and some nice oaky notes. Seems OK, just wondering why? Seems a little silly for the effort and hype when it is a simple apricot beer.

Stave Lake Lost Barrel Series - Barrel Aged Apricot Ale
Tasting at Joshís
Hazy amber color, generous head. The barrel aroma is very strong, it provides a lot of vanilla, a hint of tobacco, then the apricot appears. Smooth, well carbonated, with a soft body; it has some mild apricot flavor, very light acidity, and some wood, not much wine.
A bit weird, but overall an interesting try.

Black color, brown head. Soapy aroma, is this anise? Lean body, bready, a bit roasty, and sour, and then allspice.
This is all over, quite a mess.

Mission Springs Spirit Bear Spiced Chocolate Imperial Stout
650mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of allspice upfront, followed by cocoa. Flavour is a good mix of allspice and dry cocoa, though the spices do dominate. Quite dry on the finish, with the spiciness lingering. Not my thing at all.

Mission Springs Spirit Bear Spiced Chocolate Imperial Stout
Bottle. Black pour with a nice brown head. Aroma is chocolate, a little roasty with some savory spice notes and a touch of soy sauce. Taste is chocolate, very malty, hints of dark fruit and savory spices. Fairly rich and full flavoured. Not a fan of the spices, but they are subtle and balanced with the rest of the beer, so pretty decent overall.

From the tap at MSBC. Golden colour, nice small white cap, good lacing. Caramel and light tropical fruits and grassy hops in the nose. Taste has grain and caramel sweetness, late grass and mild tropical fruity hops. Light creamy body. Overall - ok, some nice hop notes but the caramel profile ruined it for me.
