Grumbo	2.3 Nottingham Road Pickled Pig Porter 30/10/2023. Bottle shared by Jeremy, cheers! Pours clear very dark brown with a small frothy off-white head. Decent looking pour. Aroma is roasted, malty, coffee, toasted, cocoa, dark fruits. Taste is quite sour, moderate sweetness. Light bodied, slightly oily and watery, low carbonation. Looks and aroma were fine, rest not. Grumbo	2 Nottingham Road Whistling Weasel Pale Ale 30/10/2023. Bottle shared by Jeremy, cheers! Pours slightly hazy pale amber orange with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is skunky, boiled cabbage, Brussels sprouts, wet grains. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Average carbonation. Drying tart biscuity finish. Per previous raters, this appeared spoiled. Sunday, October 29, 2023
BlackHaddock	2.7 Nottingham Road Tiddly Toad Premium Lager One litre plastic bottle: BB 30th September 2023. Shared with my brother-in-Law, Andy on 1st October 2023, so one day too late. Almost clear golden body, white crown. Just on the turn, hoppy and semi-bitter, it's the best of the four from these guys I've had. Sunday, October 1, 2023

BlackHaddock	1.8 Nottingham Road Whistling Weasel Pale Ale Monday 25th September 2023, Shrewsbury Gathering in Chez Sophie, 5 blokes and loads of beer. I was given a litre plastic bottle (BB 30th September 2023) of this by a friend (with three other beers from Nottingham Road). Well, this was a surprise, it was like a wild ale, most likely skunked in some heat or oxidised somehow because it didn't smell or taste like a Pale Ale at all. Big disappointment. Dull hazed murky brown appearance that doesn't quite look right, thin off-white ring atop. Aroma of sour wild fruity funk, mixed ferm. Flavour profile brings a similar air, empty hop notes, sherry. Aroma of cocoa, taste is a touch funky, acetic.. though not massively.. thin dusty cocoa.. lacks a deep malt presence. Very odd indeed. Tuesday, September 26, 2023
BlackHaddock	2.2 Nottingham Road Pye Eyed Possum Pilsener Plastic litre bottle: BB 30th September 2023. Drank at Auntie Sue's on 9th August 2023. A present from a friend. Oh dear, this was poor, like crap 'home brew', maybe it doesn't travel? Clear golden body until the last drops from the bottle gave the beer a slight haze, decent white crown on the litre glass I poured the beer into. It's aroma and taste was 'old and tired' most likely oxidised because there was a good inch gap between the beer and the cap of the bottle. I have three more litre bottles from these guys, I hope they are better! Thursday, August 10, 2023

Murky dark brown, small tan head. Aroma is dark malts, roasty and coffee, hints of overripe fruits. A bit harsh, sweet with some hops. Fairly light flavour, slightly bitter with the coffee notes coming through strong. Nice finish with the coffee hanging around. Medium bodied, a little flat in terms of carbonation. Not a bad porter.
