Slipstream	4.4 Bell's Expedition Stout - Bourbon Barrel-Aged 2018 vintage. Strong, rich flavor dominated by bourbon. The alcohol runs a little hot, but the brew is complex on the palate. Black cherry and molasses come into the picture, along with a dash of pine. Potent for sure. VG Thursday, April 18, 2024

DrnkMcDermott	3.5 Bell's Oberon Eclipse Single can from Binnys. Would have had this at the eclipse viewing party, but I was at Big Muddy instead. Somehow, I thought this would be a Black Ale, but I guess not. Instead, orange color, with plenty of haze from the typical Bell's floaties. Foamy head that fades into a ring of soap suds. Citrus and coriander nose. Interesting citrus taste. I image this as the flavor of an orange that's been in a smoker? Definitely not like a Belgian wit. Some points for being different. TkmLinus	3.5 Bell's Hazy Hearted IPA 12 oz can. Smells of grapefruit, pineapple, and melon. Dark yellow with moderate haze. Up front tastes of citrus, grapefruit with a hint of orange switches to a somewhat dry bitterness with hints of grapefruit pith at the finish. Worth trying, but I feel that "Official" is a better hazy from Bell's. Thursday, April 4, 2024

thegreenrooster	3.4 Bell's Hazy Hearted IPA Pour is a more of a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is some citrus and melon. Flavor is again some citrus and melon and finishes with some Belgian triple aspect with creamy malt, yeasty esters and a bit of alcohol. Not a great hazy IPA but but this drinks more of a Belgian IPA and that saves it in the end. Saturday, March 30, 2024

ClarkVV	3.7 Bell's Big Hearted IPA 12oz can, best before Jun 9, 2024, drunk March 25, 2024. Clear amber with a light rusty tint. Small, persistent, off-white head. Resinous, not in a terrible way, as Bells IPAs often are. Mostly pine, spice, light caramel and crystal malt-like notes, as well. Heavy ester, but not sharp or alcoholic, with lots of peach and such. Big, malty, but well-attenuated, with heavy pine, moderate resin, moderate-to-heavy caramel. Good maltiness/body/texture but it's just not my type of thing. The old school pine/caramel/resin/grapefruit IPAs were never my thing, to be fair. But this is pretty well done, especially given its massive size. Doesn't come off crude or boozey. Love the yeast signature on their IPAs. Love the body and attenuation here. Monday, March 25, 2024

Pours a dark brown almost black with big tan head mostly diminishing and very good lacing. The taste is a little bitter with the maltiness coming through.
