Taste is more sweet, solid malt backbone with off pine notes, green apple, pine. I think my can might have been a bit old and not done this justice, I've had this off tap and enjoyed it much more. Nutty and pastry-like on the finish, with slight apple esters and the mildest of hop bitterness on the fade. Pretty red-orange hue with a nice white head and modest lacing. Mediocre nose. Big yeasty lime front, yet everything gets clouded out by the briny backbone. Stays appreciably dry, but the pint becomes akin to chugging seawater by the time it warms.
