coasternut	4.7 Silver City Thaw Out This is one excellent beer in my humble opinion. It pours a dark reddish brown in color with a dark tan head that is very minimal. The aroma is sweet roasted malt and a hint of spiciness. Very good Red/Amber ale does not taste like a 36 IBU beer. Wish I had bought more. It's that good in my opinion. BOD 10-4-2023. Boutip	3.1 Silver City Ridgetop Red Ale Can: Poured a brown color ale with a light foamy head with minimal retention and light lacing. Aroma of caramel notes with some light roasted flavors. Taste is also a mix of caramel notes with some roasted mat notes and a semi-sweet finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. OK irish ale but lacking character. Thursday, March 14, 2024

Aroma is sweetish caramel and tree fruit with some citrus. Flavour has sweetish caramel, apple, lemon and earthiness. Fine carbonation. Solid. Saturday, March 9, 2024

Pours a cloudy gold yellow with yeast particles in suspension and a large, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves thick, soapy patches of lace. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, orange peel, pineapple, cantaloupe, mango, apricot, earthy yeast and herbal hops in a dry, bitter finish. coasternut	3.8 Silver City Wet Hop Tropic Haze IPA This beer pours a hazy golden color with a massive foamy head that dissipates rather quickly. The aroma is slightly sweet and fruity citrus. Pours nearly clear golden with a large cream white head with excellent retention. Taste has a high pithy bitterness with some mild malt sweetness reining it in. Monday, November 13, 2023
Oakes	3.8 Silver City Mighty Oak Medium brown, thin head. Touch of phenol on the nose with the sugary, figgy malts. Good malt body, the oak brings dryness and toastiness to the finish. Light fruitiness but that lends a pleasant accent to the rich malt. Solid scotch ale. Wednesday, October 25, 2023

mcberko	3.8 Silver City Mighty Oak On tap at Pint Defiance, pours a deep dark mahogany brown / near-black with a small beige head. Aroma is surprisingly subtle for such a big beer, with smoky toasted malt, toasted caramel, and bready malt. Flavour is dry and malty, with lots of dry caramel, lightly smoky, toasted bread, and very subtle oak. Good malt bill, lightly smoked; barrel character is very subtle — I wouldn’t have guessed it was barrel aged. Very good overall. Monday, October 9, 2023

IndianaRed	3.5 Silver City Foxy Lady 500ml bottle purchased in about 2019 pours a dull pale pinkish light amber. Could hardly coax any head even with an aggressive pour. Expected Flanders light vinegar sour character with a little muted sour cherry. A bit more of the cherry in the flavors and not very sour as far as a Flanders goes. Light malty woodiness and the oak had faded, if there was much to begin with. But it has all faded together is a nice mild melody. Not bad Tuesday, July 11, 2023

The aroma is sweet and fruity, perfume, not orange, not pineapple, closer to orange flowers, and other kinds of flowers, and artificial coconut aroma. Good body, moderately sweet; the malt base is nice, it's soft, not chalky; the fruit seems to ruin it though, because, if the pineapple adds a nice, juicy, mellow, tropical note, there is a strong pith character that may derive from the orange. coasternut	4.5 Silver City Kwik Stout This is one of the best milk stouts I've ever tasted, or maybe the best!! The aroma is sweet chocolate and dried fruit. No bitterness from the hops or coffee. This is one smooth stout with the lactose used in brewing process. Too bad this is a limited series as I would buy more of this. 22 oz bottle don't remember where I purchased it, but according to the ratings I must have had it for 3 or 4 years. IT AGES VERY WELL!!
