W aromacie niewyraźny zapach ciemnych słodów głównie nuty chlebowe i karmelowe. W smaku karmel, i kwas chlebowy, w tle może jakieś melanoidyny ale też niewyraźne. Nose is pale malts, corn husk, cereals grains, caramel. Taste comprises stewed fruits, relatively crisp malts, cereals, lemon rind, hedgerow, herb. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Kleg	2.1 Kilikia 500 ml bottle from Melbourne Beach Market. Pours a crystal clear gold color with a white head and great retention. Very good lacing. Strong Euro lager aroma. The flavor tastes like an average Euro lager with light sulfur notes and a strong vegetable finish. Not the best. Medium body and medium-light carbonation. Not bitter. Sunday, August 20, 2023
Kleg	3.3 Kilikia Dark 500 ml bottle from Melbourne Beach Market. Pours a clear, very dark mahogany color with a beige head and good retention. Spotty lacing. No aroma? Dark and sweet caramel malt flavor with a little light chocolate in the finish. Not smoky like many Dunkels. Light flavors overall. Very clean and easy drinking. No sulfur notes. Very pale washed out pissy golden body, traces of a white head. Grain and veggies in the aroma. Smooth, very light taste, cardboard and traces of rice... err... what? Grumbo	2.3 Kilikia 11 20/7/2023. Bottle from Marek. Pours clear deep golden with a lasting frothy white head. Decent looking pour. Aroma of wet grain, sweet malt, stewed fruits, caramel, spiced orange. Taste is better than aroma, fairly sweet, malty, caramel, slightest sour edge. Medium body, fairly smooth, not too carbonated. Rubin77	2 Yerevan Premium Beer 0,5l bottle as "Yerevan Bière Lager" from Goûts et Saveurs grocery store in Nice. Head is thin, white, quick gone. Colour is vaguely gold, clear. Aroma is watery bready, artificial caramel, biscuits. Taste is medium malty base, typical commercial lager, bit oxidized, weak bitterness, medium carbontion, at least country is a bit exotic. Alengrin	3.2 Kilikia Dark Armenian 'tmavý' or Dunkel brewed in the country's capital. Medium thick, moussy, pale yellow-beige, opening head on a clear deep caramel brown beer with warm copper red glow - seemingly a bit paler and more 'red' than is typical for a Dunkel. Aroma of caramel candy, rusty iron, plum jam, cookie dough, sugared tea, rosehip, liquorish touch (oddly), even a faint whiff of chocolate. Clean onset, sweet maltiness with a light sourish edge, medium carb, slick and thinnish body; smooth caramelly malts with cookie- and brown-bread like side notes as well as something vaguely liquorish-like retronasally; a mellow toasty bitterish edge, mixed with a dash of herbal, tea-ish hops appears in the finish, along with a spicy, almost peppery accent. The caramelly sweetness and smoothness prevails, though, and a less pleasant metallic effect is very persistent as well. Not the worst Dunkel I had, actually, smooth and simple but effective, though of course at the same time an industrial beer with a less flattering metallic aspect to it - still, better than expected, to be honest. Aroma is sweet, malty, hoppy, caramel, fruit and veg. Medium to heavy sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Bit watery. Average carbonation. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, brioche, raw donut dough, veggie edge. Very sweet, minimal bitterness, a tart edge emerged. Medium body, oily, average to soft carbonation. Sweet toffee finish.
