Flavor had a firm bitterness that gave the other hop flavors a good backbone. Very enjoyable, probably my favorite of the flight. Saturday, September 5, 2015

Taste of coffee, semisweet chocolate and some roasted malt. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Fairly full body, smooth and somewhat creamy. nicley balanced. Bif	3.2 Great Deep Man'hita India Pale Ale On tap at the brewpub. Served a deep golden color with a decent head that fades to some lacing. Mild aroma of citrus, some malt sweetness and bit of grain. Taste is a mixture of citrus and pine with a malt sweetness and some grain in the background. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Fairly medium body, crisp and somewhat refreshing. Immy	3.8 Great Deep Oatmeal Stout On tap at the brewpub. The bartender said it was on nitro, but I’m not sure I believe it. Anyway, Black with a pretty thin brown head. danielcurtis81	3.5 Great Deep Winter Ale Served on tap at the brewpub. The appearance is a deeper dark brown with a red glowing edge. Not too much head on this one. The aromas are mild with some juniper, light doses of spruce, and a kiss of cinnamon sticks. The flavors are a mild roasted malt, nice juniper additions, and spruce accents. The mouth is more medium bodied with a light bitter finish from the spruce. A flavorful but mildly intense winter ale. Thursday, January 27, 2011

danielcurtis81	4 Great Deep Imperial IPA Draft at the brewpub.(Resampled 4/13/09 was advertised as imperial pilsner this time but tasted pretty much the same. Pours a golden with a lacing white head. Sweet hop nose. Flavors almost tropical. Lots of fruits like pineapple, mango, etc. Reminds a bit of Hawaiian Punch. Mouth has a decent effervescence to it, also very smooth and refreshing. danielcurtis81	3.9 Great Deep Oatmeal Stout Draft at the brewpub. Deep brown with a off white to tan head. Malt and oat to the nose. Flavors similar, also a bit of a sour component to the brew. Pretty good for the island. Re sampled on 4/10/09. 20 oz pour from the tap. Poured a lot darker. Nose was deep roasted malt. The beer entered strong with brewed coffee. Flavors built with more of a nicely roasted malt. Mouth was full with a little bitterness to it. This was much improved from the previous time. My rating if for the latest tasting. The appearance is a more pale gold with some small white head. The aromas are nice with a bitter earthy hop tone. The flavors are a great medium strength bitter grassy hop. Nice medium malt balance. Anglofile	1.3 Great Deep Belgian Tripel Draught. The beer was poured with absolutely no head. Had a dark orange color that was very transparent. The aroma was virtually non-existent. Flavor was little more than peach flavored rubbing alcohol. The 8% alcohol was very pourly integrated into the beer. Not their best and maybe their worst. Friday, January 18, 2008

MrRomero	3.4 Great Deep Manhita Scottish Ale After straightening out the tap situation at Mac & Marti in Guam, I realized this was a pretty good Scottish ale and not a very good Irish Red ale. Poured a cloudy butterscotch color with a medium off white head. Hoppy, somewhat skunky aroma. Earthy hop flavor. The smokiness is light up front but after a few sips, it becomes more pronounced in the finish. Good. Friday, July 30, 2004
