Bulk_Carrier	3.3 Mackinaw Brewing Belgian Whitecap Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a hazy off white to glossed over yellow. There was a decent light foamy lacing even after a bar pour yielded no head. The smell was a lemon to orange like maltiness letting just a tad of light spice trying to come in. The taste was slightly sweet and spicy for the most part. On the palate, this sat about a light to medium with a pretty good sessionabilty about it. Overall, good beer I’d have again. Bulk_Carrier	2.7 Mackinaw Brewing Vienna Lager My one and only beer I’ve ever had by this company. I had it when I visited my father - in - law who lives in the TC area. At the brewpub, this was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a decent looking hazy amber color with a quarter finger’s worth of white foaminess of a head that dissipated within about a minute. There was some light lacing sticking around the glass. The smell had some light roasty caramel to nutty malts. The taste was mainly sweet but also slightly nutty. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was construed to be somewhat tame, and I’m okay with that. Overall, mainly just an average Vienna Lager, I’d have again if I lived in the area but honestly, I’ll be okay without it for a while. Saturday, July 19, 2014
