Zlotta	3.4 Schönramer Hell 0.5 l can from 'Craftbeershop.com', as 'Schönramer Lager Hell', best before December 2024. Clear, golden with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy-spicy and a bit fruity-floral aroma of grains, fresh grass and light lemon peel. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly grassy-spicy and moderately fruity-floral taste of grains, vanilla, fresh grass and some lemon peel, followed by a short, gently bitter, a little dry finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Good Helles, fairly crisp and fresh. Monday, April 22, 2024

Fin	3.7 Schönramer Zwickl Bottle picked up directly from the brewery webshop and consumed at home Wednesday 14th February 2024 cooking a Broccoli and Stilton Soup and listening to Huw Stephens on 6Music. Pours hazy light/mid amber with an off white head. Smooth mouthfeel and erring slightly on the sweet and malty side, but very good for it, nice, very nice, there is a pleasant caramel touch to this and there is a very light bitterness but it's really subtle. This is an extremely easy beer to drink and I am already wishing this was a 500ml rather than a 330ml, still I have 2-3 more in the fridge so will top up soon. Wednesday, February 14, 2024

We're cooking Chicken Dauphinoise with Dijon and Cream later. Pours clear gold with a mid sized white head, clean, malty, honey throughout but with a little herby undercurrent. This is very nice. Sweetish, slightly malty, moderately floral aroma of grains, some straw and light vegetables. Slightly sweet, malty, moderately bitter, a bit floral taste of grains, straw, light honey and a touch of vegetables, followed by a short, gently bitter, a little dry finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Decent lager, fairly grainy, rather quaffable, somewhat stale though. Friday, January 26, 2024

Slightly sweetish, moderately grassy-spicy, a little fruity-floral aroma of lemon peel, some fresh grass and a touch of grains. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, gently fruity-floral and a bit grassy-spicy taste of grains, lemon peel and some fresh grass, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very well-brewed Pils, quite smooth and nicely aromatic. Not as intense as the Grünhopfen-Pils, of course, but quite good for a classic example of the style. Thursday, January 25, 2024

We are attending the Haag Herbfest later. Pours warm gold with a white or maybe just slightly off-white head. Malty aroma, toffee and caramel mostly with a little nuttiness, taste following a similar trajectory but the hops are also picked up here with a slight prickly bitterness. Very nice beer.
