Nocturne	3.7 Fallen Acorn Promote It On Keg at Joule, Salford. Pale dark brown colour. Small head. Forest fruit flavours abound with sweet maple edge. Despite the unusual looks this works really well, and is one of the most unique beers I’ve had in a while. Tuesday, December 26, 2023

Thanks to the guy behind the bar who I was chatting to and randomly plucked this out from a fridge to share! Black with a tan cap that clears to the ege. Nose is chocolate, dark malts, blueberry compote, caramel. Taste comprises chocolate melt, molasses, marshmallow, definite rocky roads hit, dark malts, blueberry syrup. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light kiss of alcohol. Fun enough impy. Saturday, August 5, 2023
Theydon_Bois	3.6 Fallen Acorn Vinous Nature - Barley Wine With Rye Bottle split at Tilt, Bingo-Cotts Convention, Thanks to Mark 08/07/23. Murky mahogany brown with a decent beige covering. Nose is stewed fruits, modest barrel, spice, herb, dried fruit esters. Taste comprises toffee, dark malts, dates, oak, mellow rye. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a spike of alcohol. It's fine but somewhat stuck in 3rd gear and lacking complexity. Friday, August 4, 2023

Nose is dark malts, dried fruit rinds, maple syrup, light smoke. Taste comprises tangy dark fruits, modest smoke, ashen notes, maple syrup, brown sugars, light vinous tunes, toffee. dragnet101	3.9 Fallen Acorn We Had The World In Our Hands Can from LCB, still in date. Pours black small tanned head. Certainly a rocky road aroma with the sweet marshmallow coming through strongly as well as chocolate biscuit, dark malt and liquorice. Taste of sweet marshmallow, raspberry compote, chocolate biscuit, dark malts and liquorice. Medium to full bodied, low fine carbonation. A little sweet at first but the bitterness builds over time giving it a decent balance in the end. Not a cloying mouthfeel like some dessert stouts. Actually a very nice sipper. Tuesday, July 4, 2023

The aroma is roasted malt, caramel and red berry fruits. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, roasty, chocolate, sugary, raspberry, faint liquorice palate. Very nice balance to this and more of a flavour profile than your average milk stout with light tangy dark berries, roast, smoke/wood, coffee, toffee. Mid bodied, fine carb. Very good. dragnet101	3.6 Fallen Acorn Awaken Can from LCB, 2 months in date. Hazy gold with small white top. A pleasant citric, tropical and pine aroma. Orange, passionfruit and pine with a mild sharp fruity tang combining with a decent bitterness. Near medium bodied, slick, fine carbonation. No surprises here but this is a well made SIPA. Rune	3.7 Fallen Acorn Sith Faced 200ml draught at Tromsø Mikrobryggeri. Low, fawn-coloured body, clingy lacing, black in the glass. Inviting aromas of earthy malts, nicely roasted. Well blended taste profile of nutty chocolate, oatmeal, and liquorice, hints of dark berries as well. Roasted malty tail with a backdrop of coffee. Fine depth. Interesting and unusual brew. No head (story of my life). Initial impressions of the flava are sugary coffee and tangy coffee berries. That sugariness remains throughout. Followed by coffee bitterness and booze. Coats the mouth. Thick. Oily. Sticky. Flat-average carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Surprisingly sweet but enjoyable. After dinner coffee Impy. Off for a blood test. Saturday, May 13, 2023
BeardedAvenger	3.9 Fallen Acorn Awakening 2023 Keg at Awakening 23. Stone fruit, resin and booze combine for the aroma. Hazy pale yellow-gold. Thin creamy white head sticks to the rim. Smooth stuff flava-wise: Stone fruit with canned fruit syrup and oat creaminess. Resin is more obvious into the finish, as is a boozy streak. Medium bodied. Creamy if pithy. Sticky. Flat carbonation. Long finish with a dryness and some astringency. A fitting beer for one of Fallen Acorn's final brews and the festival they co-organised. Saturday, May 13, 2023

But it does in its appearance - dark brown... charcoal in forest fruits. Thin white head is, yeah, thin. Initial fruity hit, followed up by the maple syrup.
