Little Apple Bodacious Blonde 3.2
Pint on tap at the brewpub. I am not a fan of fruit beer or flavoring like in this beer but this was a refreshing beer on a hot summer day. It is Ice cream flavor beer but I liked this stuff for some reason.

Little Apple Prairie Pale Ale 2.8
A middling pale ale. Has some grassy bitterness, but there is a lingering butter problem with this (and most other beers) from this brewery.

Little Apple XX Black Angus Stout 2.2
Sickeningly sticky beer. An incredible amount of caramel and butter in what should be a beer dominated by its chocolate or coffee roastiness. I had trouble finishing it.

Little Apple XX Black Angus Stout 4
Had this beer every time I have visited the brewpub and its never been off, which is something very special for this brewery. Looks great off nitro, adds a thickness to the mouthfeel I don’t get much from their other beer. Plenty of roast a unsweetened cocoa and all very drinkable. If you only get one beer here make it this one.

Little Apple Sod House Porter 2.9
Shaker pour at the brewpub. Nice looking black beer with thick tan head. Otherwise. all diacetyl, could not really enjoy it. Let my friend drink the rest after a handful of sips.

beastiefan2k
Little Apple Rileys Red Ale 2.9
Sampler at the brewpub. Full butter diacetyl in the aroma. Less so in the flavor. Seems to be a nice America-Irish Red hybrid hiding under there.

Little Apple Wildcat Wheat 2.9

Little Apple Belgian Blizzard 3.3
Parkville Fest 2013. This batch is listed as 8.1%. Cloudy golden pour. The beer has a lot of the wrong aspects of a Belgian ale. Aroma is overly sweet, banana-candy, esters run amok. Flavor subdues the esters a bit and has a mineral finish. A bit of a lighter body for the style.

Little Apple No Bull Barleywine 2.9
Parkville Fest 2013. This batch is listed as 9.1%. I had this beer 2 years ago at the same fest and it was pretty good at the time. However, this year’s was baddddddd. Ruby dark brown color. Aroma is boozy and green, too young of a beer. Rotten fruits and alcohol. Then the dreaded diacetyl kicks in. Flavor is sweet raisins, which is nicer and still plenty of booze. A light diacetyl rounds it off.

Little Apple Belgian Wit 2.4
Stopped in for lunch on national IPA day and they have a belgian witbier as a special I dont get it Pours a fairly clear orange with a small white head. Kind of a skunky, funky, orange wheat aroma. Not pleasant at all. The taste is alot of the same, really no semblance of wheat anywhere, more grainy than anything. The orange is there, but its a funked out citrus that really didnt help much either. A little bitter finish, which was short and bland. Maybe the poorest attempt at this style I’ve had

Little Apple Pony Express Porter 2.6
pours black brown with khaki head.smells of chocolate, heavy roast for porter. Taste is bitter chocolate, bittering from roasted grain too. Mostly all chocolate, the roast seems to kill any fruit out what little hops there are. Ok but not solid.

on tap honey colored beer with a tart hoppy aroma. There is a hint of orange to be noticed. Flavor is also very tart and is also bitter. The middle of the tongue is stimulated in a pleasant manner. Some apricot and honey are underlying tastes. There is some personality here and a nice "grab." There is also a surprisingly nice mouthfeel
